The location of the hotel was a close drive to our attractions and the continental breakfast was good in a clean dining area. The price was low and there was no charge for our two young children
The room had a very musty smell so I had to leave the balcony door open all night. Because the hotel is on a busy road the road traffic seemed to echo into the room. The hot water takes between 3 and 4 minutes to come through the pipes

The breakfast was the best thing about Hotel Schwangauer Hof. The town the hotel is located in was completely shut down by 8pm, so being that we didn't get a chance to eat dinner it was nice to have a buffet in the morning.
When we arrived at 8pm we were greeted by a letter on the front door of the hotel. We then were forced to walk about 2 miles in the dark with our luggage to another hotel that was holding our room key. I am not sure why they couldn't give the key to the hotel next door, or leave a number for a cab so that we didn't have to walk, but either way they were not accommodating. Thankfully it was only about 4 degrees out and not raining, so the walk could have been worse, but not by much. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

What I liked the most was the location in a nice a quite village and very near to the Neuschwanstein castle. Good relation quality vs price.

The people were nice and it was quite close to Hohenschwangau and the village itself.

I thought the location was convenient to the town of Fussen and the castles. The hotel was very cute and the room had a little balcony which was a nice surprise. The free breakfast in the morning was great!
