Air conditioner was very, very loud! Would wake me up every time it came on.
Good for I what needed
Coffee all day. Walking distance (less than a mile) to many restaurants. Clean. Comfortable bed.
Limited outlets near the bed. I could not keep my phone by bed/night stand and have it charged through the outlet. Also it seems some rooms have fridge/microwave and some don't. (I didn't but my friends did.)
The price & location was good. It was also clean.
It was a bit dated . Faced the parking lot. Courtyard was more inviting.
Nice lounge, dirty smelly rooms
We were excited to stay here because the exterior facility looked nice and the price was so reasonable. But after coming into our room we were over powered by a musty/mouldy smell. The carpet was damp and the bathroom was filthy with grime and hair in the shower. We asked for a room change only to find the next room just as bad smelling, with a slightly cleaner, although still not acceptable bathroom. Would suggest spending an extra $10-15 and staying somewhere with cleaner facilities.
Loud people during the night
Booked a king size bed and received a queen. Upon notifying the front desk and asking for change was told that was not possible. Hallways and outside the rooms dirty and not well kept.
ALWAYS A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE
I travel to AZ every month and stay at this Hotel. It's close to EVERYTHING in Old Town and right across from Scottsdale Fashion Square. The staff has been there for the 2 years I've been staying there and the customer service is impeccable. The rates are extremely affordable and rooms have been remodeled and upgraded (at least the ones I've stayed in facing tge pool.. There's a Mexican Food Restaurant on site which is very yummy as well as a Stand Up Comedy Club. Never a dissapointment best value best location! Highly Recommend!!!!
The location was great! Near old town Scottsdale. The staff went above and beyond with our requests. The restaurant and bar connected to the hotel was very good. We had booked a premium room and one was not available for our needs and they gave us a complimentary meal at the restaurant. Pool area was nice with a bar but we didn't use it much or at all.
The hotel has only had part of it renovated. The room we requested was a handicap and it only had a King bed and a shower chair, no walk-in shower as we had requested. We moved to a 2 bed room, it had not been renovated. Very old, lamp shade wouldn't even stay on it was so old. Only double bed, very uncomfortable. Shower head was a rain shower, not a fan. Room doors opened up to the parking lot, not a fan. Not enough outlets or accessible outlets. We had to ask for a refrigerator (booked room came with one) and no microwave (booked room came with one).
The decor was nice.
Some housekeeping issues, there were missing lightbulbs and a soiled Kleenex on the floor when we walked in.
The Price is Right
I was working a 2-day conference at the DoubleTree down the street and staying at the Days Hotel was significantly less than at the DoubleTree Resort. Didn't have any problems with the overall experience of the stay. Spent most of the time at the conference, of the time at the hotel was just to clean up and sleep. I did enjoy the ease of access being able to pull right up to my door to load and unload. I would recommend staying here if budget is of high concern.
It feels like a much older building with only minor improvements. The double beds were full and not queens. Also no option for a roll-away bed which was not convenient. The sound of the fan in the bathroom was irritating while it was on.
Okay for the money
The heated pool was nice and beds were fairly comfortable. It is close to most places in Scottsdale and only a 15-20 min drive to Sky Harbor Airport.
The vent fan in the bathroom was hanging off the wall and the bathtub did not drain. Also if you want breakfast at the hotel you only get 20% off and there are way better breakfast places in Scottsdale for your money.
For the money it was good location, room was clean
Location, pool, happy hour so close to room, people in restraunt were great.
No chair for my 83 year old mother to sit on in room. She had to be on bed when in room, very herd for her. We asked about a chair said they would bring one but never did. Ladies were always cleaning the rooms. Very friendly and helpful.
