Cons: "I added Luggage 16.5kg and they charge $130 AUS.The weak point is they are not showing luggage when we booked."

Cons: "We were late arriving, the cabin crew although they were pleasant, didn’t do enough to allow the passengers to get off first, for the connecting flight. Malaysian airlines stayed in the runway, fixing an engine and the pilot said they were delaying the plane, driving in for passengers to disembark. After being told by cabin crew that a number of us were late for connecting flight, that they were going to wait for us, they didn’t and we were told we had missed the flight. We were kindly put on the next flight which wasn’t until five hours later. Unrealistic scheduling causes is to miss our flight and had us sitting at the airport for four hours, making it an unnecessarily long day. Not impressed."

The only down fall would be that I had to pay for movies and a meal wasn’t included with my flight, but that’s minor. Also, baggage cost me 120.AUD for one bag! I thought that was pretty outrageous for one check in bag. But the pilot was very good and informative as the overall flight was smooth. Thanks again air New Zealand."

Pros: "My husbands booking was not processed correctly from the site we booked through, and we didn't notice the mistake until we were checking in. We were at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before boarding time. The mistake could have been rectified, we were told it would need an email from Virgin to confirm and change the booking. We photographed and sent through passport details. We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Virgin's standard ticket has 23kg luggage included. What is the problem with a ticket bought online through agents such as BYOJet and Kayak?"

I was happy smiling and talking with other people in the row about families. I gave no reason for them to remove me from the flight. Not one time during boarding or waiting at the gate was I talked to about behavior or anything that might be reasons for removal off the plane. Crappy customer services I don't think they handled this very well at all."

Cons: "Firstly check in was a nightmare, travelling on a Virgin Australia Flight from LAX - BNE and a connecting flight BNE - PPP (Proserpine) all with Virgin Australia, and they claim they don't have the ability to tag your luggage the whole way through??? (I understand I have to collect it on arrival into another country and then take to a bag drop) but with the same airline they claim they can't do this? I travel a lot and with many other flights internationally and I can tag my bags with different airlines all the way through, but NOT WITH VIRGIN WITH THE SAME AIRLINE ALL THE WAY THROUGH? They can't do it? Then 2 hour delay on the tarmac after taxiing out from the gate at LAX, which got us in late to Brisbane. The food on this leg LAX-BNE for the vegetarian option was terrible, which was strange as on the fist flight over from BNE-LAX it was the best vegetarian food on any flight I've ever had. Strangely 6 months out from our flight I tried calling Delta to upgrade our tickets and was told they had no way of doing it as the Delta computer system isn't linked Virgin system. Then calling Virgin to upgrade I was told I can't as it is a Delta ticker. We tried again a week out from the flight and got the same response and told to try at check-in. We tried then at check in and told they have no idea how to do this as only so many seats are allocated to Delta tickets and they can't access the Delta system?? So very frustrating and we could never upgrade?"

I was then Seated next to an individual that should have had two seats to themselves instead of most of my seat and theirs. I was literally pressed into the bulkhead by the very large person next to me. Who had another large individual next to them. WestJet used to be a great airline that Had a little more legroom. Now airlines like flair offer the same flights with more legroom wider seats and far lower costs. WestJet has lost me as a customer that used to pay a little extra if There was a WestJet flight option"

Cons: "1 lady wanted off the flight during deicing because she thought she would miss her connection. We technically were in flight as we had crosschecked and cleared the gate. Westjet decided they would let her off and delay the whole plane another hour and cause several people including us to miss our connection. Westjet support staff were not very helpful and a supervisor told me that they was out of their control. Wr did get a hotel but our flight was not until the next day. They put us on a 5 hour flight with a connection for a 25 min flight. The lady who wanted off was just a spoiled, she was sitting directly in front of me. So, if you ever just want to get off a plane just ask. Westjet will screw a whole plane for you."

I did like the Westjet Connect feature. You don't have a TV screen in the back of each seat. You download the app and you get to watch TV, Movies, News all on your own device for free. A nice plus is that you can change all your devices with USB power port at each seats you never run out of a charge."

I did NOT like the prospect of dashing from one place to another to retrieve both my suitcase and my guitar. (I am a working musician). Upon arrival, I was advised to go to an elevator on the south side of the building, and attendants would help me. No attendants, nothing. Went to an information booth, and they said "oh no, you need to go to the special American Airlines luggage office [at the far other end of the building] and they will have it." Ran down there....nope, no guitar. They said "oh no, you need to go to this elevator on the north side at the other end of the building." Tore down there....no guitar, nothing. Got the attention of an attendant who said he would ride the elevator down and look for it. I was beyond frustrated and worried. Just then, another attendant called out "oh, a guitar just came out on the carousel!" Yes, the regular luggage carousel, which meant that it had been thrown onto a cart and bounced across the tarmac and tossed onto the conveyor belt like a suitcase, which is EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT DO. It managed to survive, but I cringe at the thought of flying with them again."

Made me wait until entire plane was disembarked and cleaned, and made me wait some more after. She was super snarky, made rude comments, and almost made my family miss our connection to EWN. I will never, ever, fly AA again. Worst customer service and tons of issues with maintenance, luggage handling, and delays."

Pros: "Tiny airplane but single flght crew managed my and from what I could see fellow passengers needs commendably. Whilst I didn't like needing to hand in my carry on (without much warning so I didn't have time to pull out a magazine to read) on the plus side it was stored well as my suit carrier came out unscathed and you get your bags curb side as soon as the plane lands so you don't have to wait for the rest of the bags to unload."
Cons: "Because the airplane is so small there is not much room to move in the aisle (thankfully most people just sat down for the short flight), also you have to hand in your carry on baggage so that it is stored with the main bags."

We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 4 times. The airline was not very helpful during times of delay - normally airlines would offer food or drink vouchers - none of that. The flight was delayed for a total of 4 hours. When I arrived into LAX, I had requested if I could go on an earlier flight if there was space (rather than catching the later one - an hour later). They asked me to pay $200 to change it. Fair enough if you want to charge me for a change of ticket - but then the plane that I was supposed to go on got delayed for 3 hours and you don't offer any sort of compensation - thats really not something I expect from American Airlines"

We took it upon ourselves to get re-booked on United Airlines. The American travel agent was pleasant but we would have been out of luck if we weren't proactive and frequent travelers trying every flight option available. Finally, after over an hour on the phone we resolved the issue through another carrier."

I had planned to put my flight time to good use and catch up on work so i did not go back to a mountain of work but that never happened. Also, I've never been to an airport where you exit the boarding doors in the terminal then head down stairs to the tarmac to board a bus that make a complete lap of the terminal going near every AA plane obviously trying to figure out which one they need to drop us off at. If can get this close to losing people I now understand how luggage gets lost so often."

Cons: "Ear headphone jack would not turn down, you could hear the show from three seats away and the flight attendant was rude when I asked her for some different headphone to see if it would help. She acted like I was stupid and said "well did you turn it down?" Of course I tried that. I was very taken back by how she acted."

Cons: "i had my boarding pass and chose my seat some time ago, in row 4. When I checked in, the AA representative switched my boarding card and I was told that my seat was no longer available. When I got to the gate, I spoke to the gate attendant. There were several people also speaking to them about their seats. I did not have a seat assigned to my boarding pass, so I stood until the entire plane boarded and the gate attendants could sort things out. In the end, I was given a seat at the back of the plane, even though booked my seat some time ago and am a Sapphire member. When I boarded, there was no room for my carry-on luggage. The flight attendant already understood what happened. She immediately took my bag, and found a space at the front of the airplane. This is the second disappointing flight in a row in 2 weeks I have had with AA. I'm not sure if it's just bad luck, or has something to do with the company. I had flown with U.S. Airways for years and never experienced any major issues."

The entertainment system was tiny, very slow and touchscreen but not very responsive to touch and had to be jabbed at (much to the chagrin of those sitting in the seat in front) to select."

Cons: "Delayed waiting on a crew person to get to the airport to fly to Dallas. We had to wait an hour at the gate. They didn't tell us what the delay was for until we had been waiting 30m."
