I was met by the friendly old woman who is running the hotel. She doesn't speak English but everything she says and explains are easily understood if you have half a brain. If you doesn't understand basic sign language and mimic there are staff on the premise that speak english.
The wifi-password written on a paper note in the room was wrong.
Theresa the host came cold “oma” from my daughter. Super place with pool , breakfast till late. Like home.
Amazing cappuccinos and croissants in the morning for breakfast. Family run hotel and they are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Located in a very quiet and peaceful area.
There is not much to do near the hotel itself. We had rented a car so were able to visit other areas and the free bikes at the hotel mean you can travel around a bit more than walking would allow.
When you stay at Bolero in Sirmione, you'll be on a lake, within a 15-minute drive of Scaliger Castle and Grotto of Catullus. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
