Great get away
We loved the rooms they were like little bungalows. The lesuire facilities were great we used the pool. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which was excellent as was the breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. Lovely location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Sound proofing in the rooms could have been better!
\\i thought the hotel was excellent value for money this time and the food was well up to a standard of excellence ..staff extremely helpful and courteous .
the car park was disorganised and if fact my car was damaged in the car park by a red car scaping the side ..It will probably cost in the region of 200 to 300 to repair .so was it a good trip value for money ..no if you include that problem ..perhaps it may not have happened if there had been a proper marked area for cars etc .
Wonderful hotel and beautiful clean well furnished room with tea/cofee making facilities. Quite a large hotel but well run with friendly staff. Very good value when booked on booking.com.
Directions to reception from car park were insufficient and the existing signs were improperly lit. In places walking from car park to pathways meant one having to walk over a mulch of leaves and muck.Food trays left outside neighbouring rooms in hallway on sunday evening at 6 pm were not collected until 9 am Monday morning. Pint glasses left on outside walkways overnight. Strange choice of tv channels. All night horse racing from America and the awful news channel Euro news but no BBC news or Sky news channels. No freeview channels like ITV2 or BBC 3. Good selection of sports channels though.
The hotel is a very beautiful village with both entertaiment and quiet nature forest. The rooms are very comfortable. But it is dificult to find this wonderful place if you don't have a vehicle.
Room was modern, comfortable ans functional. Wi Fi connection in room is bonus
Be aware this is more a motel, can be a wet and cold walk to main building
