Staff at breakfast were so friendly and helpful. Loved that there were fresh berries every morning - and many other options - a great selection!
Room was much too dark, making it next to impossible to properly apply makeup. Because the windows are small by today’s standards, really need to use brighter light bulbs and more of them - especially in the bathrooms.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is the main selling point of the hotel, being in the middle of downtown, it was the main reason for us booking it. The room was very spacious and comfortable in general and the cleanliness was good. The breakfast buffet had lots of fresh fruit and bagles, works for a couple nights stay.
This hotel needs slight upgrading to bring it up to modern standards, for the price it is a bit stuck in the late 90's. Wide automatic doors at the entrance and a double door elevator that stays open for more than a second would make a huge impact. The room layout was a bit strange and certain things were in impractical locations (f.e. massive bathroom door in the way of getting to the sink). Advertised features and layout in the rooms in general seemed to be disparagingly allocated within the room category.
I love how cozy and clean the rooms were and the bathroom is huge. Beautiful spot.
No complaints here
Location in downtown made going around a pleasant experience.
The walls were too thin, not sound proof, we woke up due to next room’s alarm. Among other noises that should have been kept private.
Location was excellent. Walk out the door and be right in the heart of the city. Rooms were generous size.
Sound separation between rooms (especially floor to floor) was not terrific, as this was an old heritage building that had been converted. We only had breakfast there our first morning, as it was mediocre. We preferred to go down the street to a good coffee place.
