Pros (+) The customer service at the Steamboat Grand was outstanding. All of my interactions with their staff was nothing short of wonderful. Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The people alone would bring me back to the Grand. Our room was lovely and we were able to upgrade our second night for a small additional charge--Our room extension was top notch.
Cons (-) Went to The Cabin for breakfast our first morning and was not blown away by the service nor food. I would have appreciated more attentiveness from our server (however a number of groups were dining at the same time) and the food was not necessarily impressive, however our overall meal was not bad, just average which was a bit of a letdown as the rest of the Steamboat Grand was absolutely lovely.
Pros (+) This is close to the slopes and is a fantastic hotel with walking distance of everything in the ski village and with shuttle service to town.
Cons (-) The bathroom was dirty. There was long black hair covering the shower, sink and floor of the bathroom. The hair also was clogging the shower drain making us wonder if the room had been cleaned. We ended up using a towel to clean the bathroom as no one answered the phone at the front desk at 11:00 pm.
Pros (+) Great location.
Cons (-) The Palo room has no bed! The pullout sofa bed is really uncomomfortable.

Pros (+) The slope at Steamboat talk for themselves! Now the Grand let me just say this place goes out of there way to give you the best experience possible. Room service was fast, my girl the second day in torn her ACL and the Grand's staff on a regular basis brought her ice , the shuttle made special trips with her to get her mess downtown! I never stayed at a nicer place before ! Awesome job Grand !
Cons (-) I didn't like that I forgot my swimsuit to jump in their beautiful pool!
