Super comfy bed
Wifi was not working Charged $8 for clean spoons to make in room coffee No water pressure in shower. Water did not heat up Room phone kept not working (couldn’t call reception) Rubbish in lift and foyer constantly
Very helpful staff, and the view from our room was amazing. The pool was very good too. The cafe opera meal was very nice with some good gluten free options, as requested. I did have to ask for some oysters as there were none in the buffet for our sitting. The oysters were provided thank you, but they were very small. The staff were all very friendly.
The dress code at cafe opera was very casual. I anticipated that it would be a little more dressed up and I felt overdressed myself, but it made no overal difference.
We stayed at the Intercontinental Sydney for our first wedding anniversary and were treated to a lovely surprise gift from the hotel. Location was beautiful, looking out to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
A few things that we found to be dated - e.g. TV and shower.
All staff we encountered were polite and welcoming. Lots of choice at breakfast and it was great having the fresh juice options. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean and well presented. We had a problem with the hair dryer but it was fixed immediately.
We only stayed for one night before we got on a cruise so we didn't come across anything that needed improvement.
