Breakfast and clean rooms.
Good overall
Nice looking hotel with comfortable bed.
Location isn't great if you're not in the mood for chinatown and the extras (wifi, breakfast, parking, etc.) are pretty pricey and can get expensive quick
Have more lifts available for check out
Being close to the city, particularly the momorail, and the markets.
Checking in and parking the car could have been more organised.Especially with young children (prams). Exiting the street was differcult.Exitting parking Toll was out of order, with no sign saying so.
We arrived at 6:00, but I checked in at 14:20. It made us feel so tried for the following days. I don't think it deserves the high price.
The room was set out in a very appealing fashion and the size of the room was very comfortable
It is a nice hotel and location is very convenient. Close to Central Station and China Town with lots restaurants around it. We went there for the concert held in Sydney entertainment centre which is very close to this hotel as well. Recommend for city trip. Fair value for the price i paid but it is not a 4 and half stars hotel.
The bathroom is not bright enough and facility is a little bit old. room interior may need some refurbish.
All other hotels in the area had a 3 night minimum for New Years Eve and Citigate only had 2 nights which fit our travelling schedule. It was close to the CBD and walking distance to Darling Harbour and just a bit further to Circular Quay. The monorail station is at the bottom of the street. We stayed in a King Harbour Open Plan Suite which did not have harbour views but you could still see Darling Harbour attractions and it didn't face into the back of another hotel so the view was good. The food in the hotel bistro was very good value and wide menu choice, the staff were very helpful. The pool is not overly large but adequate with a great spa and has comfortable lounge chairs, the bar was not open on the pool deck whilst we were there.
Apparently all hotels charge for parking in Sydney (being from WA I had never come across this before) - Citigate charged $23 per night which when you have paid double for NYE I felt was a bit OTT and should have been included in the room rate. There was no bath in the suite only a shower.
Great central location, right near chinatown with beautiful food, walking distance to all activities
Stairs at entry no ramp or help with bags!!!
We are close to central sydney & china town, darling harbour
Breakfast was average and for the famaly expensive with macas for the kids just oposite
friendly staff, good check out & check in time
Great - once we got settled and knew how to get to and from carpark to hotel lobby etc. Very helpful staff - most pleasant , will definitely return.
