My room wasn’t ready when I arrived 3 hours after check in time. It wasn’t ready until almost 9 pm when I needed to be asleep as I had to get up early the next day, and I had been traveling for days and spent $300 on the room for one night. They comped me nothing and didn’t even really apologize for the inconvenience. They knew they had a full house and could have planned better to get the rooms turned over by check in but the greedy penny pinchers at the top run a lean operation to increase profits and it makes me sick
Pros. The building is cylindrical, making all the rooms wedge shaped and spacious.
Cons. The lobby and front entrance were on the opposite side from the parking garage, making check-in confusing for a lone traveler who's carrying a ton of stuff and exhausted to find their way around. The elevators' electronic floor selection touchpad system is confusing, at first. The shower is terrible, with a low-pressure "rainfall" stream that made it difficult to wash the shampoo from my hair. The bed was half firm and half soft; neither was very comfortable. The frame was so flimsy that, when I shifted, I felt like it was going to collapse. I'm heavy, 200lbs, but that shouldn't be enough to nearly break a mattress and frame! Also, the location next to the highway is very loud and earplugs couldnt drown out the sound fully (I was on the 14th floor).
