Pros: Small village close to pinhoa. Lovely friendly staff and great value tourist evening meal for approximately 10 euro. Tourist information centre people gave great suggestions of local sights to visit.
Cons: Our fault. Property doesn’t have a lift and we were on second floor. Need to add this to our filters when booking.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean, roomy...staff tried very hard to make it feel like a best-rated hotel and it was a wonderful stay but lacked charm
Cons: Dishes chipped breakfast area, furniture worn; restaurant downstairs has limited menu, staff was lacking training in what was on menu and over-priced in comparison to other in-town venues i.e. Thomas Eggers Taboo down the hill and others. Ex. Laundry for 15 items...jeans, men’s T-shirt’s, boxers, 30 Euro....but the staff are very helpful and accommodating.

Large and stylish bathroom. Good choice for breakfast - fresh fruit, pastry, yoghurts and more. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. I‘d recommend the hotel to my friends and family.
Cons: A little thing, which is up to an individual taste - I wish the coffee at breakfast was a bit stronger.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived to have the owner Thomas greet us with a huge smile and a complimentary glass of port wine each, we were then warmly invited to make ourselves at home and shown our room. We decided to eat at Thomas’s restaurant, he had a table with a beautiful view reserved for us, the waitress was friendly and helpful. We were treated like special guests of the restaurant as well as the hotel. It was such a lovely, warm experience!

Pros: We liked the friendly helpful staff.Thérèse & Jose are absolutely charming. The hotel is beautifully furnished & most comfortable. It's like staying in a friend's house. We were made to feel at home. The visit to the family vineyard was particularly interesting & informative. Not to be missed.
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom & in our sitting room requires attention but didn't spoil our holiday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stopped in this pretty little town for one night on our way from Salamanca to Porto. On arrival we were offered a glass of fine Porto and warmly welcomed by Melina, and the owner Thomas Egger. Our room, one of five at this small Inn, was large, comfortable and well appointed. It also came with a separate sitting/dining room with a large tv and comfortable sofa. The bathroom was modern and well appointed. The Inn is on a quiet one-way street facing a small park, and only a couple of steps from a Pastelaria, which sells great croissants and other pastries at very reasonable prices (3 pastries for only 1.99 euro!). For dinner, we went to Tabua D'aco Restaurant, located beside the municipal pool. The restaurant is run by Thomas Egger, who is a certified Green Chef. He uses locally sourced ingredients including vino verde from his own vineyard and olive oil from his grove. Try the grilled cod. In the morning we had an incredible breakfast buffet put on by Melina. She even made us scrambled eggs to order. It was one of the best breakfasts I've had. When we checked-out, we bought a bottle of Thomas' vino verde and a bottle of his olive oil. Tabuaco is well located for touring mountain villages and vineyards nearby. Suffice it to say that we will not hesitate to return. Loved it.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike! The place was spotless, and the breakfast was fantastic
9.7 Excellent
Pros: This was my first stay at a B&B rather than a typical name brand hotel, and I am so glad I chose a place like this for my leisurely stay in wine country. The small town was quiet with amazing hilltop views of the valley. We walked to a restaurant recommended by pamphlets in the foyer, as well as a cafe, Grocery store, and pharmacy, so this town has everything you could need when traveling. I booked the top floor suite which was very spacious and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. I could tell everything has been updated and well kept. Breakfast from 8:30-10am daily had a great variety. Great room prices for such a nice place!
Cons: The location is on a hilltop involving a 20-30 minute drive from most vineyards and nice restaurants for tourism. If I went back, I might look for a place to stay that was closer to the river and activities.
