The room was adorable. Comfy and cute. It had a kiba fireplace and a small sitting area. Also a nice outdoor space with a fountain.
The grounds needed tending. Patio chairs were missing and there were lots of leaves and litter. A continental breakfast would have been nice.
Unfortunately, the Taos Inn, which we remember and stayed in years ago, has fallen on hard times. The hotel is rundown, the room gloomy, the once-grand facility itself a sad reminder that things do change and not always for the better.....
Great location with easy walking to plaza, shops, restaurants and galleries. Patio is nice place for afternoon margaritas. Evening entertainment in lobby. Staff was helpful.
Older building rooms are pretty funky. Room only had a window air conditioner which marginally worked. Bed was uncomfortable. Shades on windows did not block out light. Fairly noisy. I had previously stayed in other rooms on the property and would recommend those.
Charming Pueblo style. Great bar with love music.
We booked a double room which was a tiny room with a double bed. I expected a room with two beds. Luckily they had another room that I took and they gave me a great rate despite that it was a festival weekend.
