Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently highlight the hotel's excellent location, friendly and attentive staff, and enjoyable breakfast and restaurant experiences. Many reviews mention the convenience for ferry access and proximity to local attractions. The service is frequently described as helpful and accommodating, and the food receives positive remarks for both quality and value. However, several guests note that the hotel and rooms are dated, with cleanliness and maintenance issues such as dusty areas, worn furniture, and bathrooms needing renovation. Despite these drawbacks, the overall atmosphere is pleasant, and many guests recommend the hotel for its strengths.

Pros (+) The breakfast was very nice and the staff were polite.
Cons (-) There was dust on the wallpaper above the bed. There was insufficient room to open a suitcase and still get around the bed. There were light controls only on one side of bed. There were no accessible power outlets near the bed to charge phones.
