very well situated, in the city center, close to all attractions; clean and big rooms, very good WiFi, an ok breakfast; very friendly staff, they even offered us a bottle of Georgian wine at check-out :-)
nothing to be mentioned;
It's very nice hotel and ols the staff good people
Location was fantastic - we treated ourselves to a river view room and the view from our balcony was superb - over the river and up to the old town and castle (over 9 lanes of constant traffic, sadly), it was particularly spectacular at night - and only a short walk to the old town. Lots of choice at breakfast. Room was a good size, with plenty of storage and efficient air-con. Big and very comfy bed. Very nice bathroom. Lots of bars and restaurants close-by, if you don't want to go far. We found free on-street parking right outside too. Receptionist spoke a little English.
We requested a quiet room on the top floor when we booked, as I am a poor sleeper. We were given the ground floor room closest to the reception area, which had a TV and sofas, and opposite the staff cleaning area. I knew it would be noisy so immediately and politely asked for another room but the unhelpful receptionist refused point-blank to move us, saying that every other room was full and that everyone had already checked in - even though we were there at 1.45pm. She said that if we came back the next morning, she would TRY to move us - but we didn't want to have to move mid-stay or interrupt our sight-seeing to come back to the hotel. Sure enough, the noise was horrendous, even with earplugs in and the aircon on, I twice had to go out to ask people to be quieter and turn the TV down - the final time at 1.30am. To be fair, my husband wasn't disturbed by it. Receptionist wasn't there the next morning - when we got back in the late afternoon, I pointed out that I had had an awful night's sleep and she couldn't have cared less. I took a sleeping pill for the 2nd night.
Beatiful and cozy hotel in the heart of Tbilisi. It’s look beautiful, rooms are clean and big, the great view from the balcony. Hotel staff doing their job as well as they can. Special thanks for Alina for her hospitality and great smile!
The view of the river side, historical hotel.
The colour of room lighting is cold, better change to warm colour.
