Guests consistently praise the hotel's central location, proximity to the beach, and access to local attractions like Carmel Market. Many reviewers found the price reasonable and appreciated some helpful staff members. However, there are frequent complaints about cleanliness, with several guests noting dirty rooms and bathrooms. Service issues, such as unresponsive or unfriendly staff and confusing check-in procedures, are also mentioned. The bathrooms are often described as small, poorly designed, or not well maintained. Overall, guests value the location and price, but cleanliness and service need improvement.
