Reception staff assistance and friendliness; good breakfast with reasonable variety and good cappucino, but expensive as most in The Hague; tea service in room.
No in-house restaurant for dinner or for room service; hallway near elevators was very grubby with stains and old dirt; someone's hair on the clean bath towels. note: I recommend hotel for someone what wants quick stay in good place. I stayed 1 night because was moving house locally.
The hotel was better than expected. I The hotel was very near to tram station and to the shpping area, the room and the toilet was clean was clean. The staff was very helpful I really felt I was at home rather than a hotel.
The staff was friendly and tried to help but unfortunately wasnt very knowledgeable i.e. on how to fix things and knowing that the internet connection was down. The breakfast was okay.
The mattress wasnt very comfortable, the safe in my room didnt work, the expensive internet connection was down, when i checked out, they tried to charge me an additional 20euros per day.
My booking promised free wifi but the receptionist did not have this information and so I had to pay for Wifi access at €5 an hour. Neither did the room seem particularly spacious so can only guess that I was allocated a standard room. I did not have a printout of the booking and arrived late so didn't have the energy to argue. Ground floor room, which for a single female was not ideal. Room cold and no extra blankets.
Size of the room, and away from the street (trams) and coffee/ tea maker in room.
Walls needed re-painting and carpets needed replacing (stains)- even though this had been stated before on booking.com!! Contact email address for hotel, when I was delayed in London en route, not checked!
