Nissos Thira Hotel

Location was excellent for us because it is close to the bus station and very close to the main parts of town, yet in a quieter section. Rooms were big and ours had a lovely balcony with an ocean view. There was a safe (big enough for a laptop) in the room which was very important to us. Breakfast was good and the women serving it are very kind. Staff made helpful restaurant suggestions. They had special Christmas cookies set out in the lobby - nice touch.

The bathroom is a little oddly organized and very small. The one thing I didn't like was that there was a back entrance to the property that was not secured. It lead straight to our hallway. I would have felt safer if it was locked, especially at night.

It’s walking distance to all necessary places, literally 3 mins walk to bus terminal. The room is clean, nice view and the staff was really friendly and provided us with useful recommendations.

Thin walls and noisy - doors would be quieter with some maintenance. Some facilities lacking, eg, electric kettle but no cups or coffee. Breakfast sparse.
