Thera hotels near Archaeological Museum of Thera

Pros: A small boutique hotel. Hotel entrance is not typical hotel entrance. If you arrive at night, don't be afraid that you need to walk down many steps and a short path without sign of the hotel before you start seeing sign of the hotel. The reception area is also not the typical reception area, it is inside of a very small office by the pool. Upon arrival, we compared other hotel entrance, they all seem like about the same, and no car can directly stop at the entrance. So, it is more about that island rather than that hotel. Other than that, our stay was great, memorable. The rooms are very much like newly remodeled. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful ocean and sunset view. It was awesome!!!

Pros: The location is right in the city center of Fira and next to carrefour. The free airport transfer really helped alot. The distance to the city center and Fira's caldera is walking distance.

Pros: The location of the hotel was close to everything, the bus stop, shops. They were also very accommodating to our needs, and provided a free pick up and drop off to airport.

Pros: The location was great, metros away from thira town. It was great that the hotel staff were waiting for us at the arrival port, and also gave us a lift to the port at the time of returning home. The bedrooms are quite good, the only inconvenient is that there was no wardrobe in the bedrooms. The toilet is really small, no enough place to have a confortable shower. Irene, the lady at the reception was of great help when deciding what to visit within the island.

Pros: We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel - the owner was amazing - very willing to help and easygoing. The rooms varied so make sure that you know what you're booking - the one we ended up in was great, very quiet, clean and a good size with a great balcony. It's not luxury but it's a good choice if you're on a budget but don't want to negotiate on quality.

Pros: The island is extremely beautiful and the hotel looks well in the public areas, but the rooms are spatios but quite basic in terms of interior and bathroom; so I think it was overpriced.

Pros: Central location: It is close to the bus depo and town centre but very quiet (at least in our room during our stay). Convenience: There is a supermarket across the street from the hotel, it is really important to have bottled water in large quantity all the time in Santorini, because the tap water is not recommended for drinking. Size of the room: Our room is large enough even by North American standards. Breakfast room: It is large and bright by the swimming pool. You can also sit under the embrellas of the pool.

Pros: The Villas were family run and for the money we paid I thought it was excellent value. I little way out of main town but within walking distance of about 10 minutes. If you have a moped or quad bike its with 3 minutes

Pros: The hotel was in a convenient location. We splurged for one night and we had no regrets. We were greeted by friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure a warm and comfortable stay at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, complimentary drink, tea and a private balcony made our wedding anniversary special. The staff at reception offered us a complimentary taxi back to the airport to avoid us the trouble of dragging our suitcases on cobbled streets. Request a higher room with a private balcony if you are spending the $$

Pros: Beautiful historic hotel. Our room was comfortable, and we had our own balcony where we could eat breakfast while admiring the beautiful vista. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with rosewater cool towels, as well as a refreshing drink. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a lovely bottle of wine were offered to us to enjoy at our convenience. The dinner we had there was excellent, everything was made in house, fresh, and incorporating local ingredients, and in my opinion comparable to any other 5 star restaurant. Location is great too, just a quick 5 minute walk to city center.

Pros: The location and views over the caldera and waterways were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and delicious. It was at the edge of town, so was very quiet, yet within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. We liked that our room was like an apartment and not an actual hotel room. The staff made our stay perfect!!
