I loved the room. One of the smallest rooms I’ve ever stayed in, but it totally worked. It was quiet, comfortable, functional, efficient and attractive. The location was also perfect for me, since I was in Toronto for the Film Festival, and the Scotiabank Theater is just around the corner. I also appreciated that there was a 24-hour pharmacy across the street and a Starbucks at the end of the block. The rooftop bar is also very fun.
I was very disappointed to find that there was not a restaurant in the hotel. Apparently it was closed at the beginning of the summer. But what I find unconscionable is that there are still photos of the restaurant on the hotel’s web site as well as other travel sites (I booked through booking.com). That is false advertising! I usually choose boutiques hotels with small bars/restaurants onsite, and though the rooftop bar is nice, it’s not inside, which makes it problematic in bad weather.
Proximity to restaurants and tourist places to visit. Loved the room and all the amenities they provided
The front desk did not let us know that the elevator was slow and needs to be opened manually when getting out. So don’t panic. It worked just fine in the end.
-Location was perfect -Friendly stuff
-The room was really very small , no place to open my suitcase! Barely space to move. - elevator was very old, takes few minutes to reach the 3rd floor. - thin walls, you can hear all the noise outside
Our room was comfortable and clean. The location was convenient and there is a groovy rooftop bar on the top floor. There is a lift.
It was hard to get a park outside to unload the luggage. Our room was fine but the studio room (where our friends stayed) is extremely small.
Great smiling staff.
Honestly, I never complain about anything. I never write reviews except 5 stars. But this deserves to be mentionned. Maybe it's fault, and I dind't check well the drescription of the hotel, but the pictures of the rooms I saw were deceiving. The rooms were nice enough, but THERE WERE NO WINDOWS! IT WAS SO TINY! For the price I paid, I could of stayed at a beautiful Airbnb. I was so disapointed. If you are looking for a pod hotel, just for one night, without windows, then this is for you, but I will no be staying there again. It was claustrophobic.
