Best breakfast in our whole trip. Also, Eka is a bundle of joy. She is always available on phone and ready to help you. Stayed for 2 nights. They had a car at all times near the property (we have not used it). They can help you book nearby tours, vehicles, etc., Around 2-3 km from Ubud Market from where we can take a cab. No problem if you have a scooter. Would definitely recommend. You would not regret.
There was noise early in the morning due to work going on in the adjacent property.
Accommodation was cosy and usually very quiet. The price you pay goes to an organisation which contributes that money to medical assistance. Good to know your money is going to a good cause.
The accommodation was much more basic than what we expected. Staff were very difficult to find, especially in the mornings to order breakfast. At one point it took about an hour for any staff to be visible to be able to order breakfast. Communication was a struggle. A bit far from the city centre and any taxi arranged by the staff was ridiculously overpriced. The lighting in the rooms was awful - you couldn't see your belongings in the cupboard at night. Security was non-existent. The rooms had sliding glass doors which did not run on their tracks properly (meaning you could push them forwards into the room) and took two people to try and lock as the doors didn't line up properly, the "secure" safe's in the rooms were not reliable. Only 1 room that we booked had a functioning safe and you used a key. It also had a sign on it that if you had any issues with the key, to let staff know and they could use their master key to assist... not overly reassuring. Communications were a struggle, and required to be on Whatsapp, mostly because it was hard to find anyone at the accommodation. Ordering food through the accommodation was just a waste of time. Property not very well maintained. Towels were old and fraying, sheets had stains and some holes. Also, think there was some sort of abattoir relatively nearby. Most breakfasts were accompanied by what sounded like a pig having a really awful death. Could be wrong on that and would be very happy to be wrong there!
Eka! She's such a lovely and cheerful person! Friendly staffs! They helped me getting anywhere I want any time I want with reasonable fee The atmosphere!!!! Love the woodchimes that hang on my balcony . Beautiful and tranquil . Exactly what I was looking for
Beautiful is the word! Beautiful place, beautiful decorations and furniture, beautiful swimming pool with beautiful view... Very kind staff. Rooms are cleaned everyday, and the shower is hot with good pressure (it's not always like that in Bali ;-) HUGE terrace (villa Ganesha), it's so big that at first sight we though that we had to share it but no, the other villas have also their own terrace. There is a kitchen if you want to cook for your family.
You need a transportation to do all activities, but it's not difficult to find : you can rent a scooter at the villa or staff can provide driver to Ubud center for 70,000 rupiah = 4,5 euros. There is only one small restaurant at walking distance (but it's a very good one! Bula Vinaka).
Gorgeous view and great place to chill with friends. The staff is helpful and nice.
