Ubud hotels near Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal

Pros: Great hotel with its own Bali style. 11 years old but looks great - I suspect even better than when it was new.

Pros: They have thought of every single detail to make our stay very comfortable right down to having umbrellas at our doors.

Pros: It was lovely , the ambiance is amazing, food was great . I definitely would recommend. The Bed is a little stiff but I was so tired it didn’t matter .

Pros: What a gem in Ubud that we discovered! The breakfast was generous in portion and delicious. The hotel staffs made us feel like home during our stay. They are helpful, warm and kind in offering services. The hotel is a beautiful place. We will come back!

Pros: Service was superb!! Facility was stunning. Location fantastic. It felt like our home and the people working at the resort made sure of this.

Pros: The staff at the resort are simply amazing! Ibu Utami at the front desk and her team are so accommodating and helpful. Service is impeccable and they truly listen and make you feel at home. Rooms are a little outdated but very spacious and beds are super comfortable. Coming from a villa at another resort, at first I was little underwhelmed but the service and location made up for the standard rooms. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and very welcoming. Happy new year to the staff again and thank you for all your help! Sonal

Cons: There were a couple of kinks/signs of wear and tear in the room. But overall, I felt like it was still a good value for the price we got.

Pros: Voted the best in the world and truly deserving of this accolade. Brilliant facility. All the staff were wonderful, friendly, brilliantly-trained and kind. Particular stand out was Johno, the chef. Facilities were magnificent. We are planning to return with a large family group

Pros: One of the best in Bali for sure. The serenity of Ubud tropical forest, the kindness of the staff, well maintained property, floating breakfast, excellent food and many great activities the hotel offers are some of the things we like so much about this place. Worth every money we spent.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The hotel was 100 meter away from the connecting road and to access the property you have to walk uphill/downhill which will be difficult for some people. When we were there there were some building works too which makes that 100meter very muddy and sometimes there is not any light on that piece of road due to rain. Food : Breakfast is really good but lunch/dinner are expensive. Location : as described above but its 15 minute walk to the UBUD main road where you can find a lot of restaurants. Leisure : The hotel got a really nice pool but there are alot of ants over there and the hotel staff didn't come back there at all after the morning cleaning services. Apart from that the hotel is good and they have amazing view of the river at their backyard.

Pros: The whole villa is very green, really clean, rooms are big and comfortable, they have lots of complimentary activities and organize daily tours or romantic dinners under request. Staff is really really friendly. Breakfast is amazing and the views from the restaurant are unique. Swimming pool is extremely clean and very nice with great views.

Cons: Nothing, all was great.

Pros: The staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly. Always on hand and quick to respond to requests. The location of the property is perfect being close enough to the main streets yet set back far enough to be quiet and relaxing. The views are fantastic and the infinity pool an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature. There are lots of nice little touches around the place like the tropical plants, water features and koi pond. The breakfast was very good and you can sit at the breakfast bar overlooking the forest and river, watching birds and squirrels and enjoying the sounds of nature. The only issue there being the music played at breakfast which was a little annoying and very repetitive. A minor niggle though. All in all I would recommend Bucu view as a great place to stay in Ubud.

Pros: Everything! We stayed in a pool villa for our honeymoon and everything about it was stunning. The view from our infinity pool is something we will never forget. We were there for New Years Eve and they put on an amazing dinner, live band, balinese dancing and fireworks on for the guests. The staff were so friendly and kind and the location is great, not far from the main road at all but far enough for it to be peaceful. We would definitely go back.

Pros: Well located about 5-10 min walk from the Main Street in Ubud.

Cons: Although we chose the most expensive suite the shower didn’t work properly and the room itself had a bit of mould and the main door didn’t lock properly. Very nice but overall a little dated and over priced.

Cons: We stayed 3 nights 4 days.The first night,The hot shower in the room didn't even drop.But they simply said, "The other rooms use hot water, so they won't come out."However, even at 11:00 the next day, no drops of hot water came out.We were very angry.Eventually, a construction worker in another room mistaked and shut off the hot water in our room！ At the restaurant, a waitress called pink was terrible to us.The first morning she did not bring the plate Dadar gulung, so we asked.Then her attitude became terrible.After breakfast, we said "Thank you," but she said nothing with her back turned. The next day was terrible but I put up.On the morning of the fourth day, her bread basket was full of toast. I said, "Please keep Danish the same number as yesterday."Then she stared at me and said, "This is fine." I was shocked. Bread baskets of other Westerners are as usual, with the same number of toasts and Danish and croissant. She was smiling and kind to Westerners. I regret staying here.Never stay.

Pros: The bustle of the entrance gives way to a very relaxing rice paddy field. You forget you are in downtown Ubud. The location is excellent with many cool shops and restaurants around. Rooms spacious. Massive shower. Very attentive staff cant do enough for you.

Pros: The best location within Ubud, in the very center, next to yoga club and retreat center, and large private area of the hotel at the same time, eco atmosphere of the hotel. The room had a huge balcony, terrace and fruits in the room every day

Cons: The room had only a shower, not a bath, which was indicated in the photos and looked fabulous as a part of the room. The menu selection at dinners could be better, swimming pools are very small.

Pros: Loved that it was an oasis in the heart of Ubud, but being in a luxury suite loved the bathtub and decorations inside. The restaurant performances were also lovely

Cons: constantly had bugs in the room and would have appreciated more insulation. The staff was also aloof and gave me a hard time with regards to transportation around Ubud.

Quiet and comfortable rooms Plentiful choice at breakfast buffet. Great value for money. We stayed here for 7 days (extending from original 2 !!) because we enjoyed the Sens Hotel so much. They run a free shuttle bus to their sister hotel 6km away, where there is a lovely infinity swimming pool overlooking the forest. We highly recommend staying at the Sens Hotel when visiting Ubud.

Pros: We stayed in five different hotels in Ubud, and Sens Hotel was the best value for the money. The room was clean and spacious. There were no bugs in our room. The air conditioning worked well, and the breakfast was amazing!
