The breakfast, like everything else, was completely self-serve, right down to loading the dishwasher when you were done eating, and there was much less offered than I have experienced at other Swedish hotels.
First, I don't believe the on-line description said this was a HOSTEL as well as a hotel. There was no one there when I arrived! I rang the doorbell, and a voice from somewhere told me a code to punch in to gain access, as well as the code to get into my room. Unfortunately, the access code was incomplete, so I stood outside in the snow until another guest (who knew the code) came along. I never saw a receptionist during my stay. The breakfast area was small and cramped. On the plus side, there was a refrigerator for guests to store their own food.
Old style wooden building, quiet but central location
Hfotel was very difficult to find and needs detailed direction. The room was small with no TV,decorations on wall or bath mat. I told owner this needed to be fixed and it will as they have just renovated bottom floor 8 rooms from a hostel to hotel. You make your own breakfast on the second floor and reception is open limited hours.
The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The hotel is situated very central so that everything was within walking distance. There was kitchen for preparing own dinners.
Even though it had the name "hotel", it was more of a youth hostel. So the breakfast had to be made ourselves. Also the bathrooms were very small with no place to put own toiletries etc.
The Breakfast was very good.
