10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and romantic location in the medieval city. Our suite had a rooftop terrace, comfortable furnishings, and intriguing art. Breakfast was wonderful, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, fresh pastries, and a variety of other options. Our hosts were gracious and helpful. I would love to go back!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Aude and Jean Loup are lovely hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. The house is a sympathetically restored medieval bishop's palace in the old upper part of the town. Aude is former gallery owner and she has great eye for art and this reflected by the numerous pictures hanging on their walls and the tasteful furniture. Breakfast was in little courtyard overlooking the surrounding countryside with fresh croissants and freshly made coffee. Jean Loup was hugely helpful in suggesting places to visit and interesting routes to take.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm and friendly cuople and a wonderful house.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely home in the medieval part of the city. The hosts are very gracious.
Cons: What's not to like? The only complaint is that it is hard to find. Providing a map before arrival would be a good idea.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Aude and Jean-Loup are charming hosts and helped us with great itinneries and recommended restaurants so we could make the most of our time. We loved the house which stayed cool in hot weather. It was lovely staying in the old Medieval town. Our room was very pretty and it was great to have a fan too. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the pretty courtyard garden.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old house, lovely owners
Cons: It’s quite difficult to find - you need to park the car down the hill (no parking provided), and then carry what luggage you need up the hill. If you find walking up hills, with luggage, then forget it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This very charming B & B is located in the old city. The owners are very welcoming. The breakfast was served out on the ivy covered courtyard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about this property. The owners (Jean-Loup and Aude) were friendly, helpful and gracious. Aude has filled the house with beautiful art and objet d'art. The location (in the medieval part of the city) is spectacular and within a short walk of the new city below.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Chanterelle is a beautiful place to stay (even better than the photos)with wonderful panoramic views of Montventoux, hill top villages and vines from the immaculate terrace and flowered garden, and from the sun bathed lawns sloping down to a shady olive grove. The communal kitchen is well equipped for self catering. There is plenty of space, seating and dining areas. The bedrooms are qaintly decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Although there is no pool, there is fabulous river swimming just down rhe road. The owner, Marie Françoise is a marvelous hostess. She has a quirky sense of humour and we had lots of fun practising our French. Top marks to Marie Françoise and her beautiful bed & breakfast.
Cons: No complaints. However, if you are not used to country/mountain driving, be aware that the road up to the house is very steep, narrow and bumpy. This was not a problem for me, but it could be an issue for some drivers.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place. Excellent views. Friendly host.
Cons: Bed was well used. Sunk in from the edges.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Maria is a delightful hostess, providing tasty breakfasts with homemade preserves and juices. We had a large comfortable room with a tub in the bathroom. The view is spectacular and the grounds and garden are beautiful and well kept.
Cons: The road up to the property is narrow just like a lot of other roads in France.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming couple eager to please in every way. They left a key on the outside of the room for me, not knowing when I'd arrive. The room was tastefully decorated with small luxury additions that would appeal to any couple or individual-- towels, makeup desk, extra pillows, couch, etc. There are other facilities-- refrig. storage, outside tables and chairs and a pool that was very inviting (sorry I didn't use it!!). The breakfast was extremely well presented, nutritious, providing just about every item one could want (cheeses, homemade jams, juices, breads, fresh fruit, pastry, coffee, etc.). The place is surrounded by gardens and flowers of diverse kind.
Cons: The only real negative is that the place is far away from any conveniences or restaurants gas stations, etc. and it is part of the family's home, which may not appeal to everyone. This is in wine country, so it is a bit remote with lots of fields and no facilities outside. You will be in a small country village with zero facilities for visitors and if your French is not up to speed (at least basic) you may feel it is too much of an adventure. Make sure you get here during the day!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Antonio, the room was big, cool, quiet and clean. Breakfast was good, all you needed. Nice place, swimming pool, parking place, etc. Drive to Vaison-la-Romaine 10 min.
Cons: Nothing to dislike

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Overall, this is a lovely hotel. In a secluded area, with a very nice pool. We met plenty of people who were repeat guests, which is always a good sign. Go for the dinner included option, the food is lovely. The best food we had during our stay was in the hotel. The staff are very nice as well.
Cons: As the hotel does not serve lunch, it would be nice if there was a little fridge in the room for storing ham and cheese etc or water. The pillows could do with being thicker.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A dream location- big heated pool, a veranda with loungers, and a great view.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, beautifully decorated room, spotlessly clean. Great pool, lovely breakfast
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything, and the cooking is wonderful!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful, the swimming pool is lovely and the food was tasty and good value for money. Overall very pleasant experience in lovely surroundings.
Cons: Only minuses would be the sound insulation between the rooms which is not great and the price we paid for a night seemed slightly high for what we got.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The dinner was amazing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My purpose for going to this hotel was because it was close to mont ventoux. It ticked all the boxes for that. The quality of the rooms and the hotel are excellent. the food is brilliant
Cons: There was no air conditioning although on the last night we worked out the best position for the fan was at the end of the bed not at the side of us. A small fridge would have been nice
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room pool and breakfast.
Cons: Outside was a little untidy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I don't actually know where to start, everything was great overall !! The room was very clean, spacious and with an amazing view towards the garden and the pool. You are in the middle of the nature and you're feeling likewise all the time. Everything is like it's described on their website but above all Helene and her husband are amazing hosts and they will do everything to make you feel spoiled every day.
Cons: There's nothing really to mention here. The only small minus is that the WIFI quality is poor which if you think about it is normal given the fact that you're on a hill in the middle of nature. I would add that if you go there to spend your time on internet maybe you didn't choose the right location.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: Smelly room, very slow service in the restaurant, ridiculously expensive food and drinks, not worth it.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was super - in the midst of vineyards and olive groves, with pleasant grounds and a nice pool. The room was large and basically quite comfortable. The breakfasts were good and served on a pleasant patio.
Cons: The wifi was spotty at best. The AC never really got the room cool. We got no cleaning or linen service for the entirety of our 3-night stay. And the coffee was usually cold by the time breakfast was over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were made to feel very welcome by our lovely host. Even after checking out (when you can be made to feel like it's time to move on) he was happy to chat & answer our questions. It was the perfect place to relax - so quiet with beautiful surroundings...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great variety of delicious items including home made yoghurt , fresh fruit, tasty cheeses and yes the croissants were extra crispy as was the the bread , all you could want and more plus a delightful setting and special attention to the detail of the presentation , extremely pretty .
Cons: Wifi would not work at all , neither iPad or iPhone!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Peacefully situated in gardens in walking distance of village (steeply uphill) and several restaurants, possibility of BBQ/picnic on site. We had a beautiful spacious room with balcony, comfortable bed. Good location for touring this lovely area
Cons: Parking got a bit tricky when the property was full, but not really a problem. didn't make full use of the facilities due to unusually stormy weather and finding pool closed when we got bavk after a day out .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic stay very friendly owner !!! Thanks
8.3 Excellent
Pros: fab location to explore Provence. Loved the quietness of the place with frogs croaking in the distance, cigalles etc. Being able to come and go without having to socialise with anyone, bliss. Will certainly visit again and recimmend this lovely place.
Cons: There is nothing not to like about it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Amour Provence was a lovely place to stay near the village of Séguret. It is in a typical Provencal setting with olive trees and an array of beautiful flowering plants. Our accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean, with a lot of attention to detail. We could park our car right outside our room. Breakfast was excellent, served outside on a sunny terrace. The owner was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, and made us a reservation.

Pros: Very individual quirky hotel in excellent location. Very authentic and plenty of places to relax. Staff very welcoming and outside terrace overlooking the square quite beautiful.
Cons: It couldnt be better but the stairs were quite difficult. Something to be aware of for someone with mobility issues(i have a broken foot!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bike storage Fridge use Friendly English speaking staff Cool oasis
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, right in the heart of Vaison. Comfortable bed, hot shower, and a very clean, good-size room for the money. But the best thing about the hotel was the staff. I live near Vaison, but upon arriving home had no electricity and had to check in here in an emergency. The evening clerk, Anne-Kristin was extremely kind, found me just the right room on the quiet interior of the hotel, helped me get my suitcase up the stairs and provided the name of someone in the area to help solve my problem at home! The morning clerk knew all about my house issue and made sure I had a nice cup of coffee and umbrella against the May rain when I left. What more could I want? Great experience.
Cons: The bathroom amenities could be a bit nicer, but it's a very small thing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, great breakfast on the terrace overlooking the main square, and wonderful, friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were terrific and we enjoyed using the first floor deck for picking lunch and dinner. Superb location in centre of town.
Cons: Only a bath, made it difficult to have a shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, right in the city centre with lots of restaurants literally one step away. Helpful staff, we went for a bicycle race, and it was great they let me have a quick shower after the event, even the check-out time was passed. Very useful parking place for the bikes. Excellent location as starting point for a Mont Ventoux climb.
Cons: No mini bar in the room to cool the drinks.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is located in the heart of the town, directly onto the main town square. The hotel is arty and quirky with many items of art and sculpture displayed. We liked it here and we loved this hotel; there was a craft/art market on-going when we arrived. Lovely room with twin beds overlooking the square. Clean room and good storage space. Excellent parking for our motorbike in an adjacent garage accessed by a tunnel running under the hotel! Good air conditioning and lovely toiletries. Hairdryer available on request. Within an easy short walk up to the old town
Cons: Not a complaint, just an observation - the shower was hand-held in the bath and may not be suitable for all people (this may not be the case in all the hotel rooms though).
7.1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise from bar until 1 in the morning on the Friday night
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect
Cons: The bed mattresses weren’t very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fun, funky hotel in great location for a good price. Great breakfast each morning and friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Would have liked a water pot for tea in the room, the ladies missed a hair drier but staff found one for community use.

Pros: the location is wonderful, amazing. The staff are very kind and helpful. The garden and views are such a joy. The value to money is excellent. So hard to keep these middle age buildings in such a good condition. The owners have my respect. Amazing that you can bring your car right up to the front entrance. Thank you for everything!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location in the middle of the old town with lovely views from the terrace and its small rose garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast with eggs cooked to order.
Cons: There is a very small parking area in front of the hotel but requires driving up very narrow streets.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views from my room, great swimming pool to relax during the day, nice amount of choice for breakfast with good quality local products and great bread/pastries.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet! Friendly, helpful staff .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The best part was staying in old town in 17th century building with priceless view from the window. We had nice dinner at the hotel restaurant. To use hotel parking a driver should feel cofident enough driving narrow streets. We managed it pretty well with medium size car.
Cons: Beds were sliding too easily on the tile floor while headbands were attached to the wall.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was helpful and accommodating and the view from the patio is lovely.
Cons: the room seemed dated but was comfortable. Be forewarned that parking nearby is scarce.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The unique historical charm of the hotel and the warmth of the staff. I loved the village view from our room, it felt like being inside an artist atelier.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous hotel, breathtaking view from the terrace, amazing food at the La Fontaine restaurant, good selection of wines. I would highly recommend this hotel as a treat (it's a bit expensive) if you are in the area. We particularly enjoyed the kindness of the staff who went above-and-beyond to make sure that our stay with a 3-month old was comfortable (they offered us an upgrade).
Cons: Air conditioning in the room would have been a blessing as we travelled with a small baby who had a bit of trouble with the heat. We did manage however to cool down the temperature with the fan the hotel provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful boutique hotel with very friendly owner and staff. We had wonderful time enjoy delicious breakfast in the dining room having view to the beautiful garden and river and village. Convenient location and owner provided car parking for us.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is charming. The garden restaurant offers a fantastic view and atmosphere. The swimming pool is great and you can enjoy the sun until the sunset.
Cons: Reaching the parking area with the car is not easy due to the old narrow streets of the citadel. It is difficult to transport the luggage to the room but the staff helped a lot.
