This is a really pretty "campus" of buildings, set in their own parklands, yet only 30 minutes or so from the airport, so it's great for conferences and work meetings where you want people to have some "space to think". They are great at conference essentials like providing equipment (projectors/flipcharts/pens etc.), flexible table layouts, buffet lunch and constantly-available coffee (which is not true of all meeting/conference venues!)
It's only a tiny niggle: bathroom lights that are switched on via movement-detector are a great idea in principle, but are blindingly bright if you need to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night! Still, it's probably ecologically sound.
Location is quite good, if you have a car. It is very close to the city.
The first night was quite uncomfortable. The room we were offered was in this 3rd building which is called Niittysiipi, and it reeks of old wood and dust. I seriously don't recommend that section for people with breathing difficulties, and asthma. Since it was rainy and so distant to the reception which is in the main building, and there was no phone to use, I did not want to talk about the smell at 2 in the morning, and I decided to let it go. But it was awful during the first night. There is no fridge or phone in the room. In the second day, I talked to the reception and they changed our room to another one in the main building. It was absolutely nice and refreshing then. There was even air conditioning in the room. Paula (or Pauliina) at the reception desk was so kind and helpful for us.
We were upgraded to a room in the main building which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The property provided a great, value for money option for us near Helsinki as we needed parking but you definitely need to have a car to get around. Breakfast was very fresh and plentiful. We also had a dinner in the evening which was delicious but perhaps a tad expensive but that’s the case in most restaurants in Finland. All in all good choice for us and we will use it again.
Room was great
Breakfast was so bad. Breads was so dry and hard. And very bad breakfast
