Geothermal pool is nice
We were upgraded to a superior room, which was very spacious. Hotel lobby was nice and there was happy hour at the bar from 16h to 18h (600 ikr or about 4,5 eur for a glass of house wine or draft beer). Breakfast was very good with lots of choose, you could also bake your own waffles. You could have dinner in the hotel (buffet) but we chose to go into Vik and had dinner in a local restaurant (Halldorskaffi). It was very nice and not too pricy.
Although all was very clean, the rooms itself did not feel very cosy. There were different units of rooms around the premises, so we had to go outside to reach the lobby/restaurant.
Comfortable and practical rooms, nice restaurant, great location near vik , accessibility for disable people in wheelchairs
Room were very basic in terms of decoration (standard furniture) and not so cosy.
Very clean room , fantastic view, lobby connection to dining room and bar look good
Shower area in the bathroom
The hotel is located on a big ground and our room was not in the main building but an adjacent one. The bedroom we had was spacious with one double and one single bed. Only issue we had was the shower. the pressure was quite low. We had buffet dinner and breakfast at the restaurant within the hotel and both meals were quite good, with lots of choices. I loved the lamb soup at dinner!
Better water pressure for the shower
