B&B Hôtel BLOIS

The breakfast was very tasty and the staff in the morning were very friendly. It's in the middle of a shopping district and the large supermarket nearby is handy. Good air-conditioning in the room.

I didn't realise that the hotel was unmanned until I arrived. You can't get in the gate until after you've paid for the room and there's not much by way of explanation even though you can change the language on the machine to English. The code you get works the gate and also allows access to your room and any shared areas. There was some food in the vending machine downstairs but it was over-priced. There's a McDonald's down the road which we ate at but we found communication difficult. My mother is a diabetic and has to have her medication kept at low temperature so I was expecting a fridge in the room. There wasn't one and there was no-one around in the evening to ask for an alternative solution.

bed was good and clean, rest of room is outdated. Shower needs reparations and new tiles. Cheap, but average F1 hotel is cleaner and more up to date. Friendly manager .

This hotel has a free parking and you can check in/out almost at anytime (they have an machine to do it by yourself). Wi-Fi was good also

Room had a strong smell of cigarette which was uncomfortable to stay and breakfast was really simple.

Reasonable location and a good breakfast

Rooms were cramped for two, no hairdryer, no kettle or tea/coffee in the room.
