Spa, restaurants, bars, pools and the staff!
Location, activities and the staff are amazing We stayed for 4 days and we felt we need more
We had to ask for slippers and other stuff because it wasn't available
Loved the gardens, it was so lovely to walk around the pathways and be surrounded by the plants and grass and obviously the beautiful ocean! The games room was a hit with my family, wonderful that it was included in the price and didn't have to pay extra. Movie night was great and loved the popcorn and drinks provided.
Parking is way too expensive particularly with the amount you charge for the resort fee and nightly rate. Parking should be at the most $15 per night, there is plenty of parking available just seems like money grabbing to us. Parking should be included in your resort fee price. Also not impressed that the Kids Club was closed. There were so many families visiting that it would have been utilised, also kids club shouldn't be an additional cost and should be included complimentary.
Amazing location with all the amenities our family wanted. Our family stayed for 6 days/5 nights Sept 8-13th with the goal of staying at the resort and relaxing. The timing was perfect--great rates, no crowds. The resort is a short walk to the beach where we snorkeled and swam with turtles in the morning. The Nalu pool has two tall water slides and two pool-level slides for the younger kids. It worked out that both of our kids were tall enough to enjoy the big slides. If yours are under 48" don't get their hopes up for the big slides. Our room was situated with a view of the Serenity pool yet a few steps away from the Nalu pool--it was perfect. Our first night there we shared food at Whale's Tale and enjoyed complimentary s'mores. The rest of the time we enjoyed dinner at the nearby restaurants--the hotel has a few shuttle cars for drop offs/pick ups within 5 mile radius. Monkey Pod Kitchen was our favorite place to eat--get the cream pie for dessert! There's also a supermarket with a deli where you can grab sandwiches, salads, some hot food items, and even smoothies. We usually got something there for lunch and brought it back to the pool area. A couple of the evenings we took advantage of the resort's movie theater and popcorn. The path between the ocean and the resort is a great place to watch the sunset--plenty of spots with benches and trees to relax. Overall, we were very happy we chose to stay at Wailea Beach Resort and hope to return next year.
The adult pool--Serenity pool--has music playing all the time.
A few bar staff members were dismissive at an instance. Food and Beverage manager called and apologized.
