9.6 Excellent
Pros: Onsen bath by the beach front. It’s rare to get an onsen open air bath just beside the beach. The bath was simply wonderful. Super service from Ms Keiko Sato. I booked wrongly a western room and she gladly change it to a ryokan style room for me. Sato-san was also very attentive and in ensuring my stay at Koshuen is a memorable one. I reached wajima pretty early at 10am. called the hotel and they picked me up from wajima bus terminal to the hotel.
Cons: The hotel may be a bit old style but it has everything. No restaurant in the hotel to serve dinner. Guess they don’t see enough tourist to this part of japan.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Beachfront location. Nostalgic charm.
Cons: A run down.
7.9 Good
Pros: Onsen open to public so busiest ive seen at a hotel so far - nice little bag in room to take your stuff to the baths. Booked half board and both dinner and breakfast were set authentic japanese meals hence request to be in the dining room at alloted time. It was a bit challenging and intimidating as a solo trzveller but staff tried to explain (with translation technology) what was what. Another large room looking over bay area.
Cons: It was a little dated. Lots of things with no english translation on operation: eg laundry, air con but staff were really helpful Usual system with meals: no other options except hotel restaurant. Didnt get chance to explore the area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Met expectations. All was good from service to amenities.
Cons: Couldn't change dinner menu
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything good
Cons: nothing much
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Old fashioned hotel. Nice but old fashioned. Needs some renewal. Restaurant Staff with NO English at all.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very modern and new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We wanted to eat sushi and they showed us three restaurants which were - unfortunately - all booked out (around New Year). They made a reservation in another excellent restaurant for us. There is a real onsen hot bath in the hotel including an outside rotemburo.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is around the harbour and famous morning market. The breakfast is Ok. The Public bath room is also nice but the outdoor area is under remodeling.
Cons: no
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a little old, but is perfectly fine. It is clean and in a good location. You can easily walk to the morning market, the public foot bath and a bunch of restaurants (although the nearest convenience store is about a 10-minute walk away). My room was at the end of the hall on the top floor and quiet.
Cons: The car park is a little bit of a walk from the entrance. The breakfast fills a hole, but could be improved. Note: There is a building under construction next door, so that could be an issue if in the room during the day (we weren't).
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Very shabby and old not like in the photo feel cheated
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room size, staff and breakfast
Cons: Bed was too hard!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The price still too expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is modern and very comfortable. The hotel has its own onsen, so you can end the day with a hot thermal bath (42-43 degrees). The restaurant is right in front of the onsen entrance, so if you don’t feel like going out again, you can have dinner there and keep on relaxing. The food is izakaya style and delicious. Beds are very firm, which for me is a plus. I slept very well. The hotel is right by the sea, with great views over the bay.
Cons: Everything was great!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing much to say here.
Cons: Tired, carpets dirty, hairdryer broken. Breakfast was very basic - juice, coffee and toast. Beds lumpy and uncomfortable.
7.1 Good
Pros: Yukata provided. Breakfast is ok. A beautiful drinking place with blanket in the room.
Cons: Toilet is small and not feeling that hygenic.
7.9 Good
Pros: we likes this hotel as it is along the road and easy to find because we were driving during the trip. However, the location does not have many eateries at the surrounding during night hrs (we arrived quite late).
Cons: peaceful town and beautiful terraced rice field.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room is relatively large. There is a hot spring.
Cons: Walk for about 10 minutes to the restaurant where you can eat.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location and good facilities.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Onsen is good. Easy to find as the hotel located on the main road. Not too far from the Wajima morning market. The room is a little bit old, but really clean. The Parking lot has the EV charge station.
Cons: The breakfast had only egg, bread, juice and coffee.
7.9 Good
Pros: The bath was very nice. Breakfast area was clean. Breakfast was nothing special but better than nothing. Beds were soft.
Cons: Bit of a bland hotel but fine for a couple of nights. We had a difficult time finding dining options at dinner time but the hotel does provide a basic curry to buy if you want.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy parking right in front of the door. Nice onsen. Within easy walking distance of some nice restaurants and other local attractions.
Cons: It is slightly pricey for what you get, especially considering breakfast is only bread and jam.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: dirty rooms, staff not very friendly, high price

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very attentive from welcome to goodbye.
7.5 Good
Pros: good food and beautiful place near salt pool
Cons: good service but a little insufficient compare traditional ryokan
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A hotel in an exceptional location in Wajima overlooking the Japan Sea, which we could see and smell every morning from our room. Spacious traditional Japanese rooms, staff very, very helpful. Only one person speaks proper English, but they go out of their way to help. You can walk down to the beach (non particularly clean) in your swimming attire. We only had one breakfast, which was definitely very expensive, even for a complete Japanese breakfast. So the second day we skipped it. If I were to go back to Wajima, which I hope I will do one day, I would definitely stay there, but for a much longer time. This place has class (my name on the door of our room)!
