Close to the train station, very comfortable beds. Staff was very supportive and friendly.
A bit noisy outside from the road.
Clean and reasonably priced. Staff went out of their way to help our large group. They made breakfast at off hours, arranged taxis and even found us a restaurant that could take 25 of us with a 30 minute warning within walking distance.
It was a 20 minute walk to downtown.
Really nice hotel for those who need to live near the main train station
The cleanliness and location
Nothing to complain
Very nice hotel inside a lovely Art Nouveau building where exceptionally friendly personnel kindly takes unobtrusive care of their guests, who might feel as they are staying at their private Lodge with service on demand. We booked Standard Double room, but were surprisingly given Triple room with a small old-fashioned balcony overlooking the street that leads us directly to the city centre, though a 15 minutes walk. The hotel is located just 300 meters from the main train station, situated right next to the main traffic road and for whoever comes with their own car to (as I call it) the city of balconies Wiesbaden, this hotel baring the name of one of the city’s landmarks has its own parking right beside the hotel's building. Their parking lot is even accessible via the hotel’s back door, which is very convenient while offering more privacy. The room and its amenities were immaculately clean, well furnished, its beds were very comfy to sleep in. Room’s lovely high sealing brings us back to the old times when even ordinary people lived in such houses and felt like kings and queens. We might be deep sleepers, but we heard no noise coming from the streets. The breakfast buffet served in a nice lounge on the raised ground floor in the imminent vicinity of the hotel’s reception is freshly made, having all one needs to start off a new day, on a good foot. And I must mention that the very pleasant music could be heard during those early brunch hours. Spot on to my liking. We stayed four nights on the second floor out of the three, which gave me a chance to walk up and down the staircases that brings in the aura of the age when this building lived in those vintage times, but their notably silent lift originally built 55 years ago and refurbished not that long ago is probably even in today’s times still the most useful commodity for those like ourselves caring any heavier luggage or just being weary from one’s everyday activities in one of the oldest spa towns in Europe.
There is nothing we've disliked at this hotel. If only the weather was nicer during our stay and it was not raining, we'd have a chance to enjoy sitting outside on the little balcony, watching the sun setting. We ought to return on a sunny day to see it happen.
