Overview

The Sunscape Curacao Resort offers comfortable accommodations and an all-inclusive package at a beautiful, beachfront Caribbean property. The resort is located about 20 minutes from the Curacao International Airport, and it offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the central town of Willemstad.

As an all-inclusive retreat, each guest’s Unlimited Fun rate includes all food and beverages on the resort’s property. The Sunscape Curacao Resort features six gourmet restaurants, four of which are a la carte. There is also a buffet and a convenient café on site. The Sunscape has seven bars and lounges offering international and domestic alcohol, as well as soft drinks and fruit juices, included in the guest’s Unlimited Fun package.

Featuring colorful décor and recent renovations, the Sunscape guest rooms offer views of either tropical gardens or the Caribbean Sea. Each room includes a private balcony or terrace, an in-room minibar, individual climate control, a coffee/tea maker, and an optional gaming console for kids upon request. Families can opt for family rooms or connecting suites to accommodate larger groups. Some guests may also want to enjoy the luxury offerings at the Sun Club at Sunscape Curacao. The Sun Club includes guest access to a private pool, a swim-up bar, upgraded room amenities, a private lounge, and complimentary room service.

The Sunscape Curacao Resort Spa & Casino offers guests access to an outdoor pool, a sauna, and included massage services at the Serene Spa. Guests can also enjoy the resort’s on-site casino and water sports gear such as kayaks and paddle boards, or venture off-site to explore activities such as scuba diving and snorkeling.

Pros (+) I enjoyed the island and the one staff who made our stay worth while, Ecko.
Cons (-) The food was not up to par, even at the speciality restaurant. The staff was mostly unfriendly and unhelpful. The amenities were not up to par as in other resorts I have stayed.

Pros (+) The beach was gorgeous, a few rocks by the shore but once you're in the water, its amazing. The beds in the rooms were also comfortable.
Cons (-) The staff was generally overwhelmed and it is very apparent that they are short staffed and could benefit from hiring more people and training everyone on how to provide excellent customer service.
