So I rated my stay as OK (3 stars) but it is more of a 2.5 star review. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quite well appointed, but the Yuma HoJo has not aged well - notably in the bathroom areas, but it is surface paint and evidence of poor repairs more than anything else. The front door lacked any kind of wind proofing and had noticeable gaps (just had to run the heater higher at night - but still the room was comfortable. Everything works and I will still stay here when I need a place with a Fridge and Microwave in the room. It is in a great location where you are surrounded with both fast food and grocery store options (and plenty of Mall type stores). The staff were excellent. Oh, but the one thing worth closing with, the breakfast is very limited (Instant Oatmeal, Mini muffins, Cereal, Juice, Coffee, and snack bars (all items having 2 flavor options). The coffee is of an instant delivery type, but was better than if you made room coffee (yes that is provided). I found I visited in the morning just to get coffee and maybe a pair of mini-muffins and obtained anything more substantial from the surrounding area.

Pros:I really like the amenities, to include nice pool, BBQ area, gym, and breakfast. The rooms are decent size with refrigerator and microwave, which is always nice. There are a lot of positives; however, there are also a lot of negatives at this location, primarily with the service.
Cons:*The service is some of the worst I've ever seen at a brand name hotel chain. Lobby is slow and not friendly, maid service clearly didn't want to clean our room as only grabbed towels and left then hours later when we asked for towels asked several times if we really wanted our room clean so we just said never mind and stayed in dirty room because we felt so uncomfortable; however, without a doubt, the worst employee there (and among worst I've ever seen anywhere) is the breakfast employee. The don't have any complicated stuff for breakfast, so this employee just needs to restock the stuff they have, like yogurt, syrup, bagels, etc. but wow is she horrible at it. She refuses to restock anything until its been empty for long periods of time and several requests to get more have been maid, then she disappears to the back with cell phone in hand and is to not be seen for 5-10 minutes at a time while a dozen people are waiting on butter or something. When you ask her to restock something (which had to do half a dozen times each morning because she refuses to do anything unless forced to) she gives huge attitude (not just me, but every other customer as well, probably why she had $1 in her tip jar after whole morning of breakfast and that person probably just felt bad for her, she even gave attitude to customer who asked for clean table when every table was nasty and she sat around on her phone). When she disappeared to the back, if you ask the lobby for assistance, they just say to wait for her, which sucks when my waffle is getting cold and there is no syrup or butter and the employee is hiding in the back. I BLAME MANAGEMENT of such poor service in every area as how do they not address this?!?! *The beds are bad, and even fell off the frame at times. When sleeping with in same bed as someone else, every tiny movement is felt based on poor beds and support. The bedding, is tiny and isn't wide enough for too people and is of very poor quality. *People smoking marijuana outside our front door several times as we were by staircase. I have no clue if its legal or not in Arizona, but is very annoying having a child with me and constantly smelling that stinky smell of marijuana. *The air conditioner is not very good. I had it on max cold entire time, but still was rather warm in room.
Pros:I would never stay here again. Booked a disable King Room. It said it was avalible. When we got to the hotel they stated only upstairs, double bed no handicap room. With no elevator. It was late st night so With help from me , we got my husband on the 2nd Floor. Opened the door and the one bed was broken and the other unmade. Called desk they said they had another. Left husband in room so he didnt have to do stairs again. Went to the front desk, they said we just had an opening on the bottom floor..(REALY).. Just opened. Still no handycaped, or King snd the room was disgusting . All the furniture was stained. The mirrors riped off wall . Filth simmered on wall. Good part. Sheets clean heavy locking door. I am a member of the Wyndum hotel frequent group thats way i puced thus hotel it was ine that was avalible. If this is Wyndum I have to rethink my hotel chain i stay with. Realy pass this one by. They make you put 1 Star but its a NO STAR HERE
Pros:Your staff were very friendly and ready to answer our needs great location . my next trip to yuma Howard Johnon is my hotel.

Pros:NOTHING! Arrived there with my family.. could temm right away what type of place it was.. guys lurking in parking lot drinking..lobby did not feel right either..while speaking to front desk I heard noises outside by my car... there was a bunch of drunk guys that had walked over with their Beers and stood around within 2 feet of my car where my wife and kids were waiting.... I walked out ...came back in and asked the reception guy about what kind of place this was..he ran out and said something then came back in..at that point I told him we are not staying...Went to Best Western and stayed at a civilized and safe place. STARS WERE GIVEN ONLY BECAUSE I HAD TO IN ORDER TO SUBMIT OPINION!
Cons:Nothing! Too many people (Ladies abd Guys) lurking in parking lot and in front of their rooms..I dont know of any establishment that allows people to stand at the entrance of lobby with alcohol bottles in there hands..bad part of town! STAY AWAY!
