We loved the staff at Villa Annalara. They were very attentive to our needs and helpful in all details. The hotel is not large, so the staff has time to be more personally attentive.The location is in a nice position away from the hustle on the main street, yet easy to reach town in 5 minutes. Had a great view above the city, away from the traffic.
Reaching the hotel by car was very taxing, and expensive. There is only one main road into Amalfi, which is one lane and shared by pedestrians. We arrived on a Saturday night, so there it was difficult to navigate all the people. The hotel may want to make provisions to drop the car at a parking spot outside town and shuttle people into the hotel.
