Pros: It was an amazing place to enjoy the quiet side of bali. the villa was very clean, the staff and the owner derk was very friendly and helpful. in front of bukit segara you have your own beach, a coral reef for dive/snorkeling. we love this place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location. Great Service. Very good food. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, amazing swimming pool and very nice rooms. We had a villa for 4 people, very nice, very comfortable beds and great wifi. Very well decorated, the owners have an amazing taste. We had dinner and breakfast in front of the sea, the place is calm and look heavenly. The four of us loved this place and wished to stay there even longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was not too much trouble. Excellent, if a little overdecorated food. The best pool and facilities, a couple of negatives would be slightly noisy air conditioning in the master bedroom, also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, a small but slightly irritating thing if you want a coffee early morning! We loved the place and will be back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with AMAZING view, highly recommended! The hotel facilities, the view, the rooms, the pool, the garden, the restaurant: everything exceeded our expectations. The photos don't do it justice, it's much more beautiful in reality!! It's very relaxed and quiet, because of the limited number of rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The family room was very comfortable, when travelling with children. In the restaurant they have a baby chair, which is very practical. You can snorkel in front of the hotel and they offer nice activities in the area, like sailing/ hiking etc. In the afternoon they offer massages in the garden, they are GREAT.
Cons: Only feedback I can think of: cleaning of the rooms can be done a bit more precise/ extensive. But overall: big fan of this hotel and will recommend it to all our friends.

Pros: Serene location, superb staff, very restful place to stay. Food is excellent, beaches nearby for snorkeling. The rooms are off the road so no noise from loud motorbike traffic at early or late hours. Will hopefully stay again!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very well planned and maintained private villa in beautiful surroundings on the seaside cliff. Super-friendly staff. Excellent organic food in villa's restaurant.
Cons: A fridge and a safetty box in the room would have been nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent bungalows, very nice and clean facilities. Good restaurant. Very friendly staff. Highly recommendable
Cons: If you are looking for a sand beach in front of the hotel, you will not find it. But a great pool and view of the sea. Can enter the sea to swim though
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great resort ocean side resort in all respects.
Cons: My only minor criticism is that the beds were very hard, but I have found that is not uncommon in Bali.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved it ! beautiful staff so accomodating and a beautiful spot the Breakfast was delicious everyday and we loved our room with its outdoor shower and lovely gardens
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A lovely beach front resort in one of the quietest parts of Bali I’ve visited. The villas all have lush garden outlooks and pretty paths connecting them. Traditional in Bali hut style with outdoor showers. The staff couldn’t be faulted and the management staff were wonderful and accommodating. A short walk to the Main Street with a few small restaurants, shops & massage places. Not the place to go for night life or shopping but the perfect spot for a relaxing few days. Whitesands beach is a 20 min boat ride away for beach swimming but the pool at the resort was lovely. Perfect for families and older kids but not really suitable for younger children.
Cons: The only let down of our stay was the aftersun spa treatment, we thought we’d treat ourselves but given the $$ we both left feeling a little disappointed.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nice garden very green and clean.
Cons: Quote prices in IDR not USD please. Too many tours soliciting for boat and taxi rides. No “real” beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely resort, set in a lovely location, away from the busy touristy areas. Friendly, welcoming staff, nice pool and day spa.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had previously stayed at Puri Bagus 3 times so this was our 4th trip. The staff were all amazing and spoiled us especially for being return guests. They remembered us even though it had been a long time since our last visit. Puri Bagus is situated in a quiet area by the beach and the location is very peaceful and so good for a relaxing stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and calm in east Bali. The pool was divine and the restaurant food delicious. Rooms were quiet and spacious. They brought ice to your room every evening for drinks.
Cons: The wifi was very temperamental and there is not much to do nearby without an expensive taxi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In top three of all the many swimming pools I have swum in all over the world

5.8 Okay
Pros: Views were amazing The food was delicious
Cons: The lounges, cushions and even the lampshades were really stained. For $700 a night I expected it to be cleaner
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the villa was absolutely amazing, the willingness of the staff to help any way they could was exceptional, and the cooking class was fun and delicious, while also teaching us a little about Balinese culture. There are grocery stores nearby where you can stock up on supplies and excellent snorkeling or diving that the staff can help arrange for you.
Cons: For dinner and lunch the options for traditional Bali food was very limited and the ones on there were set up to be for 2 people (my significant other and I could not agree on a dish to share.) The bartenders did excellent making mixed drinks when we asked for a traditional Bali drink, but did not do well with the mixed drinks on the menu. The restaurant was not the quality I was expecting after seeing how posh the lobby and room were. With a bit more training for the staff I believe it could be everything though.
6.7 Good
Pros: Privacy of villas.
Cons: Location required a scooter for exploring. Cushions on the happy hour patio need replacing..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is like a house you have everything inside a whole kitchen that you can actually cook there and also they have a water dispenser in the villa so don’t get water bottles with you as there is water everywhere not like other hotels offering two bottles each night no they give you a big water dispenser with big water bottle and glass bottles that you can fill to have it with u during the day and the bathroom you will really enjoy it
Cons: Seriously nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facility was perfect as was the food. Must do is the cooking class, awesome family experience.
Cons: I booked in with pre paid accommodation. They then charged my CC for the accommodation again at A$3,200. They did reverse this yet they were so worried because they didn’t take a deposit they insisted every time we got a drink or food I pay with cash or credit card, couldn’t book anything to the room. How embarrassing to be told at the pool that I must go back to my room to get cash or card while my family stayed there, this in front of 30 other people. I would have thought if they could charge my card for $3,200 they assume I could cover the $900 in miscellaneous charges. So embarrassed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is quiet, the view from the villa is incredible. The staff is attentive and welcome you always with a smile. The shuttle from the hotel bring you to beautiful places to snorkel. I recommend this place and would love to come back. The infinity pool was one of the best point of the villa. Thank you for all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: a stunning private villa with infinity pool. We booked deluxe villa and realized there was 2 bedrooms inside. Probably it was for 4 adults but we got all facilities for us. Totally worth the money.
Cons: Food were not that great and did not meet 5 stars standard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a pool villa with an amazing view. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast. Delicious food.
Cons: Breakfast area is not very nice. No view and really bad chairs.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is possible to rent a scooter at the accommodation for little money and thus to explore the sights and beaches in the area and have dinner or a drink! Helmets were available and the scooters were all in top condition! The breakfast was just as varied and was freshly prepared per order! It tasted super good! If you were hungry at noon or in the evening it was no problem because there was always a cook who could prepare traditional Indonesian food which was not much more expensive than if you went to a warung to eat. The accommodation and the pool were very clean and well maintained! The staff always had us a good tip for a trip and could always organize us a cheap transfer if it was necessary.
Cons: Air conditioning was present, but according to our perception did not cool optimally.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. Generally the bungalow was very nice, clean and well equipped, the garden itself is beautiful. I was attacked by Jelly fish on our prior stay and got directly help from Anis and the team after our arrival. Further my partner and I can recommend the Anis Cooking class - was a great experience with a lot of fun and tasty food. If we come back to Amed and Bali we will definitely stay at Amed Harmony Bungalows and Villas again :) Best wishes Benjamin
Cons: All good!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice villa with spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen and private pool. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant prepare very tasty local dishes and all the staffs are very kind and always ready to help with smiles! We really enjoyed our stay there!
Cons: No direct access to the beach but hotel kindly drove us to nearby beach for free!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is extremely clean, each bungalow is seperate which gives everyone privacy, each has a large terrace with comfortable chairs and a small table. The pool is excellent. Most of all the staff were amazing, it is very clear they all get along, sharing the tasks I I would say they are treated very well by their boss as it was obvious they all enjoyed their work. Thank you for a wonderful 6 days of peace and enjoyment. Highly recommend. There are also 1 and 2 bedroom very spacious bungalow that have a private pool.
Cons: N/A
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms good food and friendly staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms, bungalows and bathroom are amazing. Very comfortable and the bathroom is outstanding.
Cons: Not everyone of the staff is very friendly or Customer orientated. Besides, due to lack of their English it is sometimes hard to communicate. For instance, the hotel staff claimed that the rented scooter was broken, but the scooter contained a couple of scratches (I'm not sure if the scooter had these scratches before, but nothing unusual happened during our roadtrip). They wanted me to pay an additional fee which led to a discussion.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and beautiful, we loved the outdoor shower. Breakfast was good. The restaurant as well. Staff very nice and helpful we rentend scooters at a low price.
Cons: A bit far from the beaches, but there is a free taxi service at the hotel so this is not even an issue

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villas are barely noticable from the garden, total privacy. Pool was free of chloride, so you could enjoy the chill right next to it. Great view of the ocean from room and restaurant. Open bathroom with huge tub. Extra comfy bed. Reasonable prices for minibar goods. Top tier restaurant with great chef - steak was so delicious! The staff is the kindest I ever met, always smiling. The surrointing of the hotel is nothing like Bali’s cities - it is Very quiet. Best palce on earth for romantic honeymoon.
Cons: Bar closes at 20:30 so you cannot order drinks after that hour unofrtunately. The hotel itself is located far (at least 30-40min drive) from nearest touristic restaurants so if you want to party - it might not be right for you. There is only rocky beach at the bottom of the cliff so you have to drive to swim in the ocean.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location, the setup, breakfast and our room
Cons: The WiFi was troublesome. The location is quite remote so one has to get/pack everything, which we didn't realise earlier.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from the villa is perfect. The infinity swimming pool is also great. The interior is very cozy with a lot of indian/thai details which make special atmosphere. The beach near villa isnt for swimming cuz it is with big stones, there is 'White Sandy Beach' - about 1 hour driving - there were lovely, and its sandy (also ther is Blue lagoon beach - not so good (a lot of boats there)) SPA is nice (Balinese massage is perfect, but (I dont remember name of massage, its with coconut and lemon (dont really like cuz its not good after sunbathing)
Cons: A lot of bugs - the bathroom is open so there were a lot of bugs, not so big but still
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Calm and relaxing, beautiful views, excellant food and charming attentive staff under good management. Perfect place if you want to just relax and chill out for a few days.
Cons: Nothing really about the hotel. The hotel is in a very remote location so be prepared for long taxi ride to and from the airport or for any excursion outside the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning Villa, fantastic view, unbelievable 34m lap pool, exquisite bathroom with stone bath and outdoor shower, private pool was beautiful, amazing artwork, breakfasts were exceptional, owners and staff were so welcoming and kind. Loved the local village and villagers were so friendly.
Cons: Property is isolated and they offer limited shuttles- free service to Virgin beach only for stays of 3 nights/longer. Room service menu and lunch/dinner menu changes daily but is very expensive, as are the spa treatments although the Moxa treatment was highly recommended by one of our party
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in one of the ocean view villas and purchased the honeymoon package, which included massages, an excursion, and other things. Definitely worth the price. The property is gorgeous and exactly as described. It's a bit remote, but it's worth the 2 hour drive from Denpasar. Bonus: You can see Mount Agung from the nearby temple if the day is clear. The room we stayed in was beautiful and I loved the outdoor bathroom. Absolutely loved the breakfasts! The infinity pool on the property was excellent, and so was the private pool in our villa. The staff was super nice and attentive, from the waiters to the massage therapists. Our driver was excellent, as well. I highly recommend Shunyata.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing, far away and close to the nature
Cons: Food there is very expensive, happily there is one warung close to the villas
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcoming, very good breakfast, nice private pool with wonderfull view from the room and calm.
Cons: Nobody at the lobby during the night if needed.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant is really good, large variety of choices for the breakfast. 2 swimming pools nice and clean.
Cons: Fresh juices and fruits are quite tasteless. They could have explained how their scooters work because it was really tricky using them, ask for explanation if you rent one.
6.7 Good
Pros: - the ocean view, swimming pool, restaurant area - plants across the whole hotel area - privacy from other guests - ability to rent scooter in the hotel in reasonable price and the ability to choose a preferred model on the parking lot
Cons: - strangely composed menu choices - unfriendly stuff (seem no to be willing to help that much) - slightly unpleasant experience in SPA (staff was very chatty and laughing to each other during massage, also I had to ask them to be more delicate) - quite expensive restaurant with no that good food - the room and bathroom could be a bit more clean - only one wine-bottle opener for the whole hotel!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clead, good food, very nice pools. Would come again
Cons: It was not located so good and they had no shuttle service into the city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about our stay here. The staff were lovely, the food was superb, our room was great, and the location was perfect - on beach side of the road and sort of in between the busier parts of Amed which suited us fine. We were here to just crash out and escape city life, it was the perfect escape. Lots of hours spent by the pools reading and resting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an awesome place! right on the beach with great snorkelling just a few steps away! The breakfast and meals were great, the service was lovely, the rooms were large and cool - and what a view! Easy to get around with scooters. Nothing bad to say about this place at all!! The only word of caution would be to those travelling with little kids or not good swimmers - the pools are DEEP! As a dive resort, they are used for teaching scuba, so the main pool is about 4m deep. Just be aware that it's not a kiddie pool. Not a criticism at all, just a bit of info. We loved everything about this place!
Cons: Absolutely nothing! Everything was brilliant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room with ocean view, mosquito net just in case, local restaurant (the curry and the sate were really good!), two diving centers next door and diving or snorkeling just outside
Cons: A bit limited regarding food options (although gusto was really good) without a scooter but that is probably the definition of a first world problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love that it was right on the beach, the two pools were fabulous with the daybeds overlooking the ocean. Our room was spacious with a balcony with ocean views. The food was great, the stall were lovely, always smiling and helpful. The dive facility attached was fantastic. We would return in a heartbeat!

7.1 Good
Pros: The vieuw Access to plage Swimming pool
Cons: Quality of bed Noisy Localisation a littlle bit far from Amed
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff all very nice and helpful. Meals etc delivered to the room ... especially since the restaurant is at the top of the property and the rooms at sea level. Great snorkeling straight off shore.
Cons: Not much we didn't like. If I had to be real picky I'd say the breakfast menu was a little limited.

Pros: Clean, peaceful, near to the beach, very kindly family. Take the breakfast while watching the sea.

Pros: The breakfast was great, with multiple options of choice.
Cons: A fridge, and possibly a large water distributer in the room, to cut down on plastic waste.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was lovely and sweet. Very helpful.
Cons: On the map it looks like it should be within walking distance of the main area of town... But it is up on the other side of a hill and it doesn't feel safe to walk because there isn't much room for you and the traffic. I ended up renting a scooter... And for the price of the room and the rental I could have paid for another hotel in town
8.8 Excellent
Pros: - Fantastic view from balcony (last floor room) - Very friendly and gentle staff - Good snorkeling spot near - Good food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a view when u book the room at the top of the homestay! Very nice hosts, everything perfect

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The first time we saw this place on our honeymoon two years ago. My wife was very impressed and told me she would like to stay here sometimes. And it happened on the next travel. The area is very beautiful and clean. Very nice villas. There is a beautiful garden, which is kept in clean every day. It was pleasant to hear birds singing in the morning. The area is highlighted in the evenings. Very quiet place and you can hear the sounds of the sea nearby. It's like a small peace of paradise on the earth. The kitchen is nice and all food was cooked well, not oversalted. I want to say special thanks to the hotel's host Wayan, an exceptional professional of his work. He could solve all questions regarding our stay in the Aashaya Jasri Resort. I appreciate all his efforts in making our vacation to be the most pleasant and admire his sense of humour.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The garden was beautiful. The location wasn’t too crowded so you could rent a motorbike and visit around.
Cons: They didn’t have a large variety of food, but the food was great. You just get bored to eat almost the same breakfast every day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Secluded area of the island. Very peaceful and a great place to relax.
Cons: The mattress was a little too hard for our liking.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a gorgeous boutique like hotel. It was so quiet and relaxing. The grounds and pool are beautiful. We had a lovely stay here, only for one night sadly. The food was great as were the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Oh my goodness this place was absolutely stunning! More than we expected! Such a place of sanctuary, I didn’t want to leave! Beautiful visually, so peaceful. Rooms were great. Bungalow feel. Clean, provided everything we needed. Staff was so wonderful and went over and above for us to serve breakfast. We had to leave earlier than the time they serve breakfast yet Wayan wouldn’t let us leave until they served us a meal. So him and his staff whipped up a quick and very decent breakfast! A special shout out to the elder Wayan, he was wonderful. He knows how to serve people that’s for sure. Can’t comment about surroundings of location as we didn’t stay long at all. But I would definitely stay there again or head there with a yoga crew. Apparently it’s a popular spot for yoga groups and I can see why!
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool was delicious after a long day ! As there was no other clients with us outside, we enjoyed the pool very much. Staff is amazing and food was perfect. Thanks to them ! The room was correct and decorated with Indonesian style. Once again thoughtful attention from the owners : bottle of water, mosquitos spray and flashlight.
Cons: The bathroom is correct and clean, but not the most beautiful room we’ve seen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Aashaya Jasri Resort was a relaxing, beautiful place to stay. We felt like we had discovered a secret gem as it is right by the beach, affordable, comfortable with amazing food on hand at the restaurant and so close to the eastern Bali sights (Sorga chocolate, Jasri Dalem Surf retreat and exploring up Mount Agung and its temples were our highlights) The staff organized scooters for us to use and two massage therapists to do an hour long massage for my partner and I (the best we had in Bali) It was the kindness of the staff that really stood out during this trip, they made everything so easy for us.

2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Traditional wooden building, very close to sea wall with very loud crashing waves. When I read the reviews of this place being "peaceful"& "quiet" it felt as if it was just right. However, sleep would have been really difficult as the manager explained the noise from the waves would be greater at night and the wooden building with it's many windows would not keep the noise out. It's a bit tired and you can only eat in your room. Despite having pre paid for four nights, we moved elsewhere. The manager, Made, was really kind and understanding and took us somewhere else we booked at our cost, about 6 minutes away, that we had found that would be quieter.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Fruits platter breakfast was fresh.
Cons: Difficult to locate the property, the room is very dim at night and a sudden blackout for 5-10minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best kept secret in Bali! We are torn between keeping it a secret or sharing this with visitors to this magic island. East Bali is the authentic Bali, with stunning nature and the culture ever present. Being extensive travellers, Jasri Bay Hideaway is our favourite spot and we have already planned our next stay here.
Cons: Having to leave ....;o)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most amazing view, the entire villa was beautiful and spacious, the staff was great
Cons: food and drinks were pretty very expensive but there is no other option to eat out nearby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked it all.. Location, villa, environment, pool, all.... staff especially!!! All was so perfect we will never forget our retreat and we hope we will be able to return soon!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Always on time & eager to help.
Cons: NA
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The villa is good. And the design is good
Cons: First, we arrived at night and the road to the place was not with asphalt and it was creepy. The security got us to the villa without checking any ID's. All the doors and windows were opened and the room was humid as well as the bed and the lighting was bad we couldn't see properly and the vault was too small. The next night there were big black ants in the room and on the bed at 12:30am and the security didn't speak english and didn't help us. The next morning while we were on the private pool, people from outside walked near our pool as they were walking on the beach (the villa is not private as any outsider can walk into it and see everything even the bathtub!!!!!). And during the last night there were a lot of big black ants all over the place and kn the bed and they got inside our bags! We called the security and they didn't help and then they called the manager who came and tried to help us but the place was full with ants and we had to leave with the big ants in our bags!!! It was horrible by all means. The facility is good but there is no control over the pests, even in the toilet chair area were the big black ants walks all around the chair!!! Unfortunately, that was the worst hotel experience I faced in my life. a lot of pests and no privacy! It was our anniversary trip, and it was compketely ruined!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not your typical hotel... This place doesn't feel like a hotel at all. It was everything we hoped for: large room, super clean, comfortable bed and most of all: quiet, with the sound and smell of the sea, in our room. Sunrise visible from our bed. Nice little pool. Excellent service. No restaurant, but even better: room service for breakfast and dinner. We even ordered massage and within an hour, 2 great masseuses brought 2 massage tables and we had massage on our terrace, near the sea. Good internet connection. We rented a scooter at the hotel and it took 20 minutes to Candidasa, once we knew the way ;-)
Cons: The signs on the road. We missed it 3 times... ;-)

Cons: Some renovation would be appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Insane view, quiet, clean, big room, good food, super helpful staff.
6.7 Good
Pros: The superb location, friendliness of the people the view, the garden, the sounds coming from the forest. Nice walking through the rice paddy the only 10 minute walk through the water palace. The food and breakfast are nice.
Cons: The cleanliness of the bathroom is horrendous the shower water had a strong sewage smell we did not use the shower and used bottled water to brush our teeth. Ery peculiar 1 shower on the right wall with only cold water and 1 shower on the left wall with only hot water and the temperature of this can not be adjusted. We kept all our sanitary belongings outside the bathroom. The smell was so strong i could not sleep well and my wife had gagging compulsions. Although the bedlinnen and blankets were very clean the pillow itself had fungi and mold cultures/spores all over them, yak. The room and matras we had is outdated and i really don't understand why others review this place so highly. After the 30 or so staying we had on Bali this had the worst sanitary conditions and that is saying something because Balinese homestays are not particularly famous for there hygiene.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was super welcoming, he drove our car through the path that gets to the hostel which is quite narrow. He made sure we were comfortable at any time, the room is big, bathroom is clean, the food at the restaurant is very good and cheap. The views from the room's terrace is simply spectacular! Tirta gangga temple is 10 min walking through a wonderful nature path! We highly recommend this hostel!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view is amazing Welcoming staff and helpful Good and generous food 10 minutes away from the water palace
Cons: Just two details: no fridge in the room and would be great to add something to put the luggage on
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great view
Cons: There should be a water tank to fill your bottle. Transportation prices seem to be inflated by a village union.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helped us with every question we had. Also I’ve never had a better view out of my hotel room than here and you can access the rice fields in 3 min and the Water Palace in like 10 min out of the backyard.
6.3 Good
Pros: The views, the bed and the banana pancake (delicious). Many places to go around walking as The water palace and rice terrace.
Cons: The bathroom. The shower specially.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is perched on a steep hillside overlooking the ocean. Great views and good clean bungalows. Nice gardens and layout. The surrounding areas are a bit dry this time of year. Great friendly staff and excellent breakfast choices and plentiful.
Cons: The lowest part of the property is a bit close to the road and can be a bit noisy with local traffic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is good. Close to many Warungs with a good variety of food choices. The bungalows are lovely and scattered throughout the well appointed gardens. Nice swimming pool and fantastic breakfast choices.
Cons: The many steps to the various bungalows might be a problem for someone with a walking disability but not for a healthy person.
7.5 Good
Pros: their service was great, the room was nice got a huge pool
Cons: too quite
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really beautiful property. Our room was huge , bed super comfy and the shower was wonderful. A really relaxing place to stay - quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very friendly and organised snorkelling equipment and a scooter for us. The pool was amazing and we had to ourselves. We did not realise how big Amed is so you really need to hire a scooter or organise a driver to make the most of it or be prepared for hot, hilly walks. Just loved the area and the hotel.
Cons: The steps up to the room were a bit of a work out - not a bad thing For me but not good I you have accessibility issues.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is so friendly and caring ❤️ thank you for your smiles and kindness
7.9 Good
Pros: Bit distant from beach and amenities. Maintenance needs to be upgraded a bit more as the safe, door lock and A/C not working the best
Cons: Shuttle service would be great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff lovely, rooms really nice - quiet and a comfy bed, yummy breakfast and restaurant nice too! Only one very minor issue was air conditioner was just average ( maybe needs upgrading ?) otherwise, we loved anda Amed ! Stayed 4 nights and kids spent a lot of time in the lovely pool. Thank you for taking such good care of all of us!

Pros: The tranquility, the view and the friendly staff.

Pros: It was hard to leave Villa Flow because you honestly don’t need to leave the place. When I did to go to the beach, market, temple and Mt Agung: everything was arranged. They have bicycles you can use to venture out on your own too. Daily yoga classes and massage options to include. The food was fantastic too and you can choose where they serve every single meal. The pool area is a dream!
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel absolutely was the best choice to relax for our 5-day stay on East Bali !! It was a delight to set a foot in these villas and we would totally recommend it and book it again. Regarding the staff, they could not be friendlier or nicer - all of them made us feel at home. They were always ready to give truly good advices and fulfill our wishes to organize our days. We also used the laundry service - unbeatable prices and service quality ! Regarding our villa, we had a nice one with view. The room and the bathroom were really spacious and also well equipped (no TV in the room but believe me, there is much better than TV here - but high quality bluetooth hifi system to add music from your smartphone to relax). Everything was spot clean. We had the visit of 3 balinese spiders (i.e. bigger than European ones!) but, hey, the villas are surrounded by a luxuriant nature, so this had nothing to do with the cleanness; it is just the nature. The bed was very comfy and when my partner found her pillow was too thick, she had it changed for a slightly thinner one. Regarding the meals - this was the DREAM ! Such healthy and succulent meals as we never found somewhere else. If you except to eat pizzas and burgers, this place is not for you. But if you want to enjoy -awesome- fruits and vegetables from the villas' garden, you'll have the best time. Regarding the location, we found it pretty ideal : we went snorkeling near Amed (about 50 minutes drive); to the beautiful "White Sand Beach" at about 25min drive; to rice terraces and several temples nearby... As for the activities available at the villa, we sure enjoyed the pool, but the best were the yoga course with Kawi (the "real" yoga, not just about stretching and exercising) and the massage from the priest during 90 minutes. Absolutely awesome.
Cons: There is nothing that we did not appreciate or would change. Even the nearby cocks' crowing every morning was no trouble.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great Snorkeling right off the beach. Lovely pool and gardens and huge outdoor bathroom
Cons: Having to pay for a taxi every time wanted to get out of the bay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view, access to snorkeling out the front of property, the staff, the pool, the food.
Cons: Mosquitoes! Staff provided everything in combat, 4 post bed mosquito nets, electric bug scents, but still mosquitoes devoured us one night out of 4.
7.0 Good
Pros: Swimming pool, coral reef on the beach, warm weather.
Cons: Staff didn't go above and beyond. For the price paid, I would have expected more from the staff to be more helpful in finding transport, etc. They seemed to be happy that you were staying there, and that was the job done for them.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, except for the food. They had the worst breastfast I had while I was on my trip for 3 weeks. It is the only improvement they need.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location, in front of the beach. Very good place to relax.
4.2 Okay
Pros: No service, no phone to call front desk, no one cleans room unless you ask. Must call back to get clean towels. Must get your own water from restaurant. No comfortable chairs, lamps, not one picture on a wall. Breakfast provided is eggs and bread and fruit. You cannot even pay extra and get bacon or sausage. This place is the minimum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had room 35 and after a month in Bali, Gili and Nusa Pendina this place by far was the nicest place I stayed!! Absolutely loved everything!! Omg the bathroom alone was amazing. Bed great, spotless clean room, cold A/C. The attention to details about and around the property (wonderful) Thank you Liam for your hospitality and amazing food!! Anything we needed was taken care of right away. Yes the snorkeling off the beach is beautiful!! Rentals at beach too. Personally can’t think of one thing I would change!! Just amazing
Cons: Loved everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a fantastic stay with my family (10 people!) for three days! The accommodation was beautiful and very clean, a few steps away from a great swimming pool and the beach where we were able to rent a boat for a fabulous snorkelling trip easily! Right from the beach we snorkelled and saw already lots of different fish, and just a five minutes drive on the boat and you can see turtles! The breakfast was very delicious with lots of different types of food available and we spent most lunches and dinners at the restaurant there too as it has fantastic food and is located directly on the beach...just perfect for a tranquil and peaceful holidays away from the crowds!
Cons: we enjoyed everything!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, rooms spotless, spacious, gorgeous bathroom, views over the sea, beautiful pool.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in room #1 which had a deck overlooking the ocean, comfortable bed with netting for night and new ac, the bathroom has an ocean view but 2 way glass and an open roof, June is one of the workers and is fantastic, always has a smile and his service is over the top, he was so helpful, the pool is an infinity which looks over the ocean and snorkeling is so great, lots of different coral and fish right at your door, and watched the fish boats every morning going by. The food at there restaurant is delicious and they accommodate any changes , we rented a scooter from them. We had a very restful holiday
Cons: Found a couple insects in the bathroom , didn’t love the open roof but got used to it, could have used a fridge in the room, but they let us store stuff in there bar fridge
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Staff soooo friendly. Very good food. Wonderful room. And what to say about the view and the swimming pool : amazing! I even had a massage next to the pool and it was really nice and cheap. I travel a lot but I really recommend this one.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. Or maybe the air-con that was broken but I had the fan and it was OK
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Traditional styled resort a little tired but has charm thanks to the location. The individual villas which have porches with day beds; are separated by established gardens that lead down to the infinity pool over looking the ocean. The restaurant overlooks the pool etc very nice place to eat. The staff very welcoming & friendly.
Cons: The outdoor bathroom in my room was over seen by the building works next door, the workers could look straight in.

Pros: Friendly staff. Beautifull surrounding. Direct on the beach.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Hidden Bali Inn located in downtown Ubud was definitely a highlight. Located just a short distance from the "shopping area", entering the Inn was coming into a quiet, peaceful, energizing place every time. Breakfast was included and each day Kunang gave us choices with a Balinese Treat to try. Our host Wayan and Kunang provide eyes and stories into the Balinese culture. A group of 5 of us were there for 6 days. Wayan offered tours, picked us up at the Denpasar Airport, regaled us with the history of Bali, recommended sights to see and drove us to various destinations answering so many questions each day. On leaving we felt we had gained friends not just business hosts. Would we go back, unequivocally yes. Absolutely consider staying here when you are in Ubud.
Cons: Probably having to leave this place.
7.5 Good
Pros: - the pool was awesome - so was the bathroom - right next to the beach - staff was friendly Overall you won't regret coming here but there are improvement points
Cons: - overall, everything feels old and used, the furniture, the surroundings, cups and plates - it was clean, but could be cleaner - the breakfast was kinda meager and simple
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff was very rude: at 6.30 am the wake you when staffmembers are practising on music instruments. When we checked out: it took 1 hour. 3 creditcard machines didnt work. They simply wanted cash. When we said no, suddenly a working machine appeared. The staff was very very rude. When i told them that they should treat their customers better, their answer was, “I don’t care”. Also they used the c word to us: they didn know I speak barasa. The food in the restaurant was also not good. Please don’t recommend this hotel to others.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious property with beautiful gardens and pool area. Not too crowded.
Cons: Not enough day beds for out the front near beach or poolside. Even some Under trees in the garden would be helpful. Not enough for all the guests staying there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay at this sweet place on the sandy beach in Amed. Lovely staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Best food we had in Bali
7.9 Good
Pros: Very lovely resort right on the beach. Good snorkeling and Lipah is a low key and lovely part of Amed.
Cons: Smoking and smokers. Garden, lawns and pot plants littered with cigarette butts. Smoking in the restaurant takes away from the food. I wonder if the smokers behave this way at home? I felt sorry for the effort the gardeners and staff put in, only to have people not bother to ask for an ashtray or clean up after themselves.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast, great location directly in front of Lipah beach with beautiful corals, super comfy bed, bathroom with lovely shower underneath the sky, nice pool and friendly, helpful staff. Shop on-site with cute, affordable souvenirs.
Cons: Internet unstable. A bit expensive for Bali-standards. Still recommended, if you have the pennies ;)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place in a strategic location to see the Lempuyang Temple and water palaces and also not so far from the beach. The owner Gusti Mangku and his staff were very warm and kind and looked well after us during the stay. His cousin Gusti Mangku who took us on a day trip in his car was fantastic too and gave great recommendations what to see in the area. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean with a terrace overlooking the beautiful garden. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will be definitely staying again next time we come to Karangasem.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple rustic charm without sacrificing cleanliness or convenience. Wonderfully warm and generous staff, delightful amenities (massages! breakfast/lunch/dinner!), in a peaceful and beautiful location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is a hidden gem, and the staff is amazing. It’s very private and the garden is beautiful. It’s a little outside from Candidasa, but Didulu offers taxi transport whenever needed and you can also rent scooters from the hotel. the owner named Mangku is really nice and an extremely pleasant man. We would for sure come back to this place if we’re near by another time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is absolutely amazing - friendly, thoughtful and very welcoming. As well as the place itself - clean, nicely decorated, cozy little details. Outstanding!
Cons: If you are not a tight sleeper, remember to take a pair of earbuds with you. Since it is a tropical location, not all the inhabitants are asleep at night and they like to talk :)
7.5 Good
Pros: Only spent one night here, but it's a great place! Clean, cozy and hidden in a lush garden, though being right next to the main street. Breakfast was basic but very delicious!
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people were so lovely and the rooms exceeded all our expectations. We were greeted with a flower necklace and a welcome drink. We stayed in a bamboo bungalow with an outside bathtub, it was great! If you're thinking of staying here, do it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the staff very kind and I loved the flower necklace with frangipani blossoms so so much! Many many thanks for a short but very pleasant stay!
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely staff. Lovely greeting on arrival with welcome drinks and a floral lai made of Frangipani. Awesome bath. They provide lots of ways of protecting yourself against mosquitoes. Great location if you want to get around all the highlights of East Bali (Tirta Gangga, Lempuyang, Candidasa, Ujung Water Palace etc) - all were within a 30 minute scooter ride.
Cons: You get what you pay for and the room could have been a little cleaner, but given the location (very very tropical) it is understandable that high levels of clean would be difficult. For the money paid it’s pretty good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The kindness and warm welcome from everyone at the resort. We stayed in two accommodations, one for my parents in law and the other one for me and my husband. Everything was perfect and we got all the help we needed if we had a question. The food was delicious and the stay was very comfortable. Thank you all for giving us one of the best holidays ever!! We recommend!
Cons: Nothing! Everything was great. Only sad thing was that we needed to go home.

Pros: Lovely resort, set in a lovely location, away from the busy touristy areas. Friendly, welcoming staff, nice pool and day spa.

Pros: Quiet and calm in east Bali. The pool was divine and the restaurant food delicious. Rooms were quiet and spacious. They brought ice to your room every evening for drinks.
Cons: The wifi was very temperamental and there is not much to do nearby without an expensive taxi.

Pros: The location was brilliant , next to restaurant and water gardens . On my first morning there was a ceremony adjacent to my villa with priests, procession and gamalan . The villa was beautiful.the staff were great.
Cons: everything was great
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, interior and a very comfortable bed. Privat little spring water pool!
Cons: There was a mysterious dust falling from the roof unto the bed und there was one leakage through which water dropped into our luggage.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice staff, very friendly. You hear all the sounds of the nature and have private kois. I think they were speaking to me :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at the Lion Villa. What an exclusive experience!!! Beautiful house with small romantic dipping pool. There‘s even food for your „personal“ fish in small ponds! Loved the feeling of being in the middle of a huge tourist attraction, yet hidden from everybody else. Amazing! We stayed there with a toddler and they put in a crib with mosquito netting! Plus: Very warm welcome by the manager and the staff. Would love to come back!
Cons: The bed could use a new mattress, this one was a bit smelly. But still okay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love everything about the Marble Villa at Tirtagangga Water Palace. It’s a unique destination in a superb location. The best thing is the access to the water palace both before and after the mass day tourists come and go. To have this place to ourselves is truly magical. When it’s busy during the day the villa is the perfect retreat. The plunge pool is divine. The day bed pavilion is perfect. Te lounge and breakfast pavilion downstairs are very comfortable, perfect for reading, doing yoga, feeding the fish in the private ponds, breathing the fresh breezes from the sea, watching the tourists enjoy the gardens. Very few use the pools for swimming by the way. I swam about a kilometre a day at the top pool and had it all to myself. The upstairs bedroom is romantic with a superb view over the gardens. The bed is exceedingly comfortable - my husband and I slept better than ever there to the sound of trickling water and bird song. Staff are attentive and quickly cater to every need. Tirta Ayu Restaurant is perfect for dinner and there are many options for lunching.
Cons: No complaints- it’s perfect for us.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: We arrived at night and there was no one waiting for us. The person that gave us the key was not part of the staff and we felt very insecure. The room was dirty and there were many bugs. There was a lizard in the room and the lights went on and off. Would not recommend this place at all, despite privileged location in the gardens.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The marble palace villa is really coasy and comfortable acommodation, with perfect chill-out sofa, small private pool and the view from bedroom is wwaaaww....astonishing!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Located in the grounds of The Water Palace and close to Pura Lempuyang. The style of the villa was lovely.
Cons: The bedroom upstairs at the villa was disappointing. There was gecko droppings on the sheets, large beetles flying about and swarms of mosquitoes. I couldn’t sleep there so I made use of the sofa downstairs but seriously considered locating my driver to take me to another location.
