The hotel is centrally located in a nice part of Amsterdam, near Dam Square, restaurants, museums, and the canals. The room was very nice and clean -- lots of room, with a large, comfortable bed, a refrigerator, a desk, and a table. The bathroom was also quite large. The shower had great water pressure, and the water got very hot. The WiFi signal strength and speed was great for a hotel. The complimentary breakfast was also good, available from 7-10.
Not a major thing, it certainly wouldn't influence my recommendation of the hotel, except to people who have trouble walking, but my room was a bit difficult to get to -- it required going through several different doors and hallways, and up and down short flights stairs. I could imagine that some people might have trouble with this.
