The bed was extremely comfortable, it was like my partner and I were sleeping in different postcodes! The towels were fluffy, the room was beautifully decorated, very modern and there was a nice selection of condiments. I'd highly recommend the Afternoon tea, great value, big portions for money and very tasty. The breakfast was made to order and was also delicious.
There could have been more storage in the room, only 3 coathangers were provided and some of the towels were on top of the toilet, maybe an extra shelf would be have been handy in the bathroom. The staff were friendly enough but they failed to tell us when check-out time was, and what time breakfast was served. They could have asked us why we were staying and maybe recommended places for us to go, we had to find out for ourselves.
Clean, nicely decorated rooms and good quality food.
The staff were not very welcoming and the pub lacked atmosphere. It was very quiet on the night we ate there and it was made very obvious that the bar staff wanted us to leave: music was turned off, cleaning commenced etc, well before closing time. Very overpriced drinks. Large glass of wine, over £11!
Great staff, very pleasant location and great food. Ticked all our boxes. Not exceptionally plush but was comfortable and cost.
Very warm rooms but fine with a bit of fresh air to cool it down
A wonderful find, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. We had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant and a lovely leisurely breakfast. The food was all great and plenty of it.
