Kaucuk Hotel

Situated in Old City, the hotel features two mansions of Ottoman era first built in 19th century, then restored and converted into a hotel. It is rather an art hotel or a living museum. The art gallery which happily serves as a concert hall has a floor that is made of glass in some parts just above the ruins from Hellenic period. The walls exhibit Turkish contemporary paintings and other pieces of art including a very skilfully crafted replica of Rodin's “The Thinker” from The Met. The art/dining gallery creates the correct atmosphere to start a journey to get acquainted with past civilizations of Antalya. Kauçuk Hotel offers air-conditioned spacious rooms with unique designs having more paintings on the walls together with some of the finest examples of antique Anatolian carpets. Every detail has been carefully attended to for comfort and authenticity in the rooms. They all have a marble bathroom with showers, TV, minibar, slippers and bathrobes. All beds in rooms are made of hypoallergenic and antibacterial materials and are fully-orthopedic. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. In the morning, Kaucuk's kitchen serves a breakfast menu with abundance of choices. You can have your breakfast in the garden under the lush trees or the in the art gallery. Nearly all ingredients used in the cuisine are seasonal, fresh and organically grown in the nearby villages. Guests can sunbathe on the loungers and swim in the outdoor pool or in turquoise waters of Mediterranean at Mermerli beach which is a 5-minute walk away. Beach towels are available. The tranquility of the garden is complemented with classical music or jazz music. Being in Old City, Kauçuk gives the chance to reach easily the historical clock tower and all other monuments that Old City offers.
