The coziness and closeness to the Trop and the Boardwalk couldn't of bee any better!!!
The shower was tight but thàts just looking for a reason, the old world feel and charm was perfect for what I needed. I was only in town for a few days days so the room was for a shower and to sleep in.
It was RELAXING
Very Quaint Victorian B&B in a very convenient location. The Inn has a lot of character in its design; old staircases, ornate Victorian woodwork, furnishings etc. We prefer this type of more intimate accommodation over chain hotels. Rooms are on the small size but certainly adequate for our needs. The breakfast was entirely homemade in the dining room while we were eating..and they kept replenishing with lots of variety. Location is a block from Tropicana hotel/casino where there's tons of eating options as well as music, gambling&shopping.Beach is 1&1/2 blocks away. Overall value for our money was excellent..and included free parking. Would definitely stay again!!
The staff was nice there historical building was well kept quiet neat clean and I might add kinda luxury the way they got it set up
Only thing this property needs to expand to 5 stars is a swimming pool and Decks for overseeing view “serious this would b 1# one because it has everything else if I had the money I would invest to this property and I’ve been to a lot of hotels motels in Atlantic City and this the one I would give my money to if I had some Name Chelsea”s Hollywood”s palace because is my name and is on everything i sign
The charm of this old inn was very tasteful and homey. The whole house was spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast was very good. The location was out of the hustle and bustle but yet right there around everything. Walking to different places wasn’t only convenient but pleasant. We ate at Carmine’s and it was fabulous, just if you go take three friends to eat your meal. I’m totally serious. It’s crazy portions that are meant to share. Super yummy!! Parking was free and very convenient as well. I would definitely stay there again.
The pub underneath the Inn would dump its glass bottles in the trash a few times a night. It wasn’t intolerable but was very loud and startling at times. A.C. was off when we got there and it took awhile for the room to cool down. ( not a huge deal)
The Chelsea Inn is an eclectic Victorian hotel located less than a block from the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Visitors stay for the unique location, and locals drop in for our made-to-order cocktails.
The Chelsea Inn has been in operation for over 30 years. Formerly Grossman's Kosher Hotel, the inn's structure has been a part of the Atlantic City landscape since 1880. We've preserved the magic of this beautiful property, from its charmingly crooked stairs to the Victorian-style décor.
Stay in a piece of Atlantic City history-or just stop in for a drink.
