Great flight, comfort, and staff. Prefer tv in back of seat but watching on phone will do

Pros: "Friendly staff and the support they offered to my mother who needed a wheelchair."
Cons: "I would have liked to have had WestJet internet and entertainment access. It was not offered on our flight from Toronto to Fredericton."
Pros: "The fact that military personnel and retired military personnel and their spouse can check in luggage for free. The check in crew was also very courteous."
Pros: "It ran on time. The pilot landed the plane without a big jolt. We could board and deplane using 2 exits."
Cons: "Seat space"
Pros: "Rotten stuff cancels out the good doesn't it. Be great if you could take some courses from Stephen Covey as you are missing some skills sets in hospitality. And stop being so cheap with the 3rd rate old old movies!"
Cons: "I did not appreciate having the second row to the last on my 2nd plane coming back - I only had a turn around time of 20 minutes to catch my third Westjet flight. When we asked if the plane would wait for us - your crew just laughed in our faces."
Pros: "Great, friendly crew in this scenic trip across to Victoria. Nice new aircraft operating this route."
Pros: "Cheerfulness of WestJet employees."
Cons: "Seat comfort; seats hard. Person next to me average size but still spilled into my seat with “man-spreading” and shoulders."
Pros: "Efficient crew and reasonable seating"
Cons: "Need more legroom or a device to fold passenger legs for the flight duration..."
Pros: "Crew was good. Seats need to be updated and are confining. I appreciated being able to disembark through front and rear door."
Cons: "More space between the seats."
Pros: "the crew was very polite but the flight was too short to have a meal"
Cons: "delayed embarking"
Cons: "Announcements are delivered with too much speed and lack connection with passengers."
Cons: "More than an hour late departing. Added to that it was almost an hour before luggage appeared. Not West Jet’s fault but it made us even later resulting in some of our long drive of our drive to Grand Canyon being in the dark."
Pros: "Crew were fairly attentive, have experienced better. Liked the Canadian entertainment options, even if very limited."
Cons: "Seats were okay, the plane is really showing it's age. Movie selection was very limited, and very dated."
Pros: "On-time flight, satisfactory crew."
Cons: "Seat felt cramped (not helped by overweight guy next to me), plane was warm with very mediocre airflow, window seat was missing window."
Pros: "The seating in the 737 was comfortable."
Cons: "This flight was booked as a connection through Atlanta on Delta. When I checked in (on the previous flight) was able to select seats or print a boarding pass for the Atlanta to Calgary leg."
Pros: "We were a little cramped in, but overall it was nice."
Cons: "Not much. It was a quick flight overall."
Cons: "It would be nice if WestJet didn't gouge customers during unfortunate circumstances"
Pros: "Hmmmm... I got free earbuds. Though movies were “pay per watch” grrr... I thoroughly enjoyed every one of the 67 movie trailers...."
Cons: "The seat hurt, it really should be comfortable if you’re going to sit in it for upwards of 7 hours. FOOOOD... something complimentary to give to your passengers who payed so much for a great trip and are now starving to death in the back seat, chewing on the magazines as nourishment."
Pros: "Consistencies on bagage claim info, and changes in boarding gates."
Cons: "Inconsistencies, on my way back to montreal from the philippines, i was informed that baggage would be claimed directly to final port of destination but didnt, when i arrived at toronto i had to take my bagage and drop it off again, although my next flight would be with west jet airlines, korean air was not able to communicate well with their airline partners as to bagage claim and changes in boarding gates."
Pros: "Pleasant staff great flight"
Cons: "that i paid to get a seat next to my brother and the plane was not full and people got to sit where they liked. it cost me more money for nothing."
Pros: "Clean plane, fast boarding process."
Cons: "No power to charge a device. This really is unacceptable in today’s world."
Cons: "Entertainment—screen was not visible from seat and sound did not work for first hour of flight"
Pros: "The crew was good given the challenges of a delayed flight"
Cons: "They could have delivered on the most important aspect on-time arrival. I know that a mechanical issue delays such as tires however ongoing maintenance should prevent these delays. Your failure to deliver on your promise impacted my ability to deliver on mine."
Cons: "Mobile boarding passes did not work and required us to go back to the service counter and print the tickets. Luckily we had time but this was a hassle given we were traveling with our 3 year old. The woman at the service desk quickly helped us print the passes but stated the mobile boarding passes tended to not scan. They should have told us to print the passes the first time we were at the counter if they knew the mobile passes tend to not work."
Pros: "Crew is helpful, seats comfortable, flight and baggage on time. Food was good for the airline."
Cons: "International connection experience is awful. I understand that AmericanAirlines is not responsible but no help or explanation was provided either."
Pros: "Couple of flight attendants were really nice!"
Cons: "Most of flight attendants were rude. No personal touch at all. Felt like they wanna rush and be done with flight asap. Entertainment selection is really poor for 9 hours flight. Expect more new movies and American tv shows. Concerts up to the date would be nice."
Pros: "Good boarding and on time departure."
Cons: "Very uncomfortable seats and spacement between the seats too small and you feel very cramped specially when the person in front of you reclines his seat you can hardly move."
Cons: "Too many delays that made me miss the original time I was to catch my connecting flight. Missed my appointment in Spain as a result..."
Pros: "It was on time. I liked the head rests on the seats."
Pros: "Not much here. The seats were ok, but the rest of the flight the airline was just poor."
Cons: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Very small aircraft and a tight fit for most people. Luggage was put on another flight :(

delays delays delays airlines need to reimburse for poor / missing service airlines need heavy federal regulations applied to your industry to protect people who use your services

My flight was canceled as I was on my way to the airport. Was on hold with Air Canada for 45 minutes and was cut off:(

The plane was really small, but they make it work. Helps you be more as comfortable as possible

Pros: "The staff member at the gate was friendly."
Cons: "No staff at all to help with checking in bags. No communication from the pilot or crew about what was causing delays, or estimated arrival time."
Cons: "One of the washrooms was a disgrace! There was vomit or diarrhea or both on the floor and on the top to the toilet seat. No one bothered to clean it up. Also, my wife identified herself to Lufthansa that she has celiac's disease, yet when the food cart came by, she was informed that all she could purchase that was gluten free was nuts. We found out later that there was a fruit and cheese plate available. Also, it seems that there were few items available from the on board menu. Why bother even having a menu if many of the items were not available? Air Canada should be ashamed!"
Pros: "Both going and returning flights left and arrived on time. The crew were good. Boarding and unloading went fast and efficiently and bags arrived fairly quickly and not damaged."
Cons: "The rouge entertainment system didn’t work. It seems like it’s old technology that was used when only some passengers used it. Now every seat has a device trying to log in. System just can’t support the high volumn of use. It worked on the return flight but most passengers were sleeping."
Cons: "The seating in economy is becoming ridiculous. At 5'6" 110 lbs. I am not a "big" person. I feel jammed in the seat and, with passengers behind complaining when my seat is reclined, my bad back threatened to leave me to hobble off the plane. The continuing reduction in seat size and leg room is becoming ludicrous."
Cons: "so late. no explanation... something about the weather bad in Boston? but that wouldn't explain every flight being late. And as usual Kayak did a better job of giving delay info than Air Canada!"
Pros: "The crew helped assist me with my mom... she was in a wheelchair and I had our carry on bags. The flight attendants were very nice"
Cons: "The entertainment was very old..... old movies, old shows, I just slept and listened to my own music."
Pros: "Flight crew. Entertainment."
Cons: "2 hours late. No room for 22 inch carry-on in the overhead."
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "I hated my seat. Last row. Seat didn’t recline. Right next to the bathroom. That should not even be a row for passengers!"
Pros: "Flight was on time. Everything went smooth for being in coach."
Pros: "The fact that we got there safely."
Cons: "Took them 90 minutes to fix a seat belt because they kept bringing the wrong part. They got it right the third try. The cabin crew sat in the back and chatted for an hour while we sat at gate. Not even a glass of water offered. Then we were diverted to Pittsburg because of weather and sat for an hour. Again no water offered. So on 5 plus hour flight crew went around once. The final straw was they blamed weather for the delay when in fact it was not being able to find the correct seat belt in due time."
Pros: "Flight was timely and crew was very nice - good flight!"
Pros: "FREE TV on the plane....all planes should have it."
Pros: "Even though the plane was having a lot of issues the crew stayed positive and the captain came out and spoke to us directly. Even though it was a crappy flight I was happy it wasn't cancelled."
Cons: "The plane had almost no AC and there was a landing gear issue that needed to be fixed. So that held us up for an hour at the gate. The plane ride was pretty hot due to the lack AC."
Pros: "Crew was proficient."
Cons: "Seating was compact, reminded me of the buses that run from Mexico to the US. "Let's see how many we can fit in there?" Rubbing elbows the entire time."
Cons: "Flight never happened. American Airlines saved the day. It seems to me, the issues with United are deeper than we ever thought. I was highly disappointed with their inability to rectify the situation."
Pros: "The crew was ok for the type of company they are."
Cons: "The plane was absolutely horrendous. Really uncomfortable. No TV, no outlet to plug in my own device. And garbage wifi."
