Breakfast was great with a very wide selection of food available. The hotel is directly opposite the sky train and from there you can move around the city cheaply and conveniently. Taxis in Bangkok are a lot cheaper than they are in the UK but ensure they switch the meter on and the traffic is incredibly heavy. It can take an hour just to travel 5 miles. The sky train is the best way to travel and all instructions in English. Hotel staff are very good and very polite.

We stayed twice, the first on the 17th floor for 3 days and the second (two weeks later) on the 23rd floor for 3 days. We therefore didn't hear any of the noise from a very busy road just in front of the hotel. I do not know if this could be a problem on lower floors? Because of the really bad exchange rate (35 Baht to the pound) meals and drinks seem VERY expensive. Even more expensive than city centre prices in the UK. A few years ago it would have been OK but £5 for half a pint of beer just grates me. Same price in all the big hotels in Bangkok, not just this one.

We stayed there for 4 nights and it was absolutely great! From the moment we arrived and walked in the lobby our mouths dropped at how nice the hotel smelled and at how beautiful the lobby was. The piano playing was also a nice addition. The Room including bathroom was so clean I was amazed. We had a room on the 24th floor with view of the city. Barely no noise could be heard from the streets and the room was cleaned daily. Airco was very cold if left on too long. This hotel really lives up to 5 star-quality which I don’t see very often. The personnel were so attentive and friendly which made our stay very comfortable. Check in/check out went quickly. Pool was nice, looks like the pictures, but is not very big. Fitness is very big and has a lot of equipment. Would be a 10 if rooms had balcony’s!

Spa is under renovation untill end of september 2019 which was a pity. However, if you really want a spa service you can contact the personnel and they will provide certain services to your room.

We loved the friendly staff, the gym and the shower! A shoutout to Benz too, who was so helpful, carrying out luggages to the train station!

Some of the cupboards and floorings were a little worn. But no biggy, just needs a little touch up.

We stay at the Vie every year. Excellent location just a few minutes walk for Siam Paragon, and very close to the MRT. Some great little coffee shops in the area, and the Rock Pub is now an annual must for us too !!! Staff are super friendly, breakfast is amazing. Mini bar with a few soft drinks and chocolate is free and drinking water is ample and regularly replaced.

There are not enough lifts - I know there is nothing that can be done now but 3 lifts for 26 floors in full occupancy can mean a lengthy wait and/or a massive squash.

Nice big rooms... Great location... Friendliest staff you will ever meet!
