Very good location
Good value for money if you’re the type of person who doesn’t need a fancy hotel cause you’re out all day. Also, good location.
The room needed a lot of maintenance. The furniture was old.
Amal - the receptionist!
This hotel was a thorough disappointment. There was only one lift for around 80rooms in the entire hotel. They gave me only one room key which meant when I returned I always did into a hot smelly room. Speaking of which the corridors on all the floors were smelling of dampness and had a moldy like feeling. There was no central AC on through the corridors so that leaves a lot to one’s imagination. Never seen a hotel with no AC on right through the corridors, this was my first! They upgraded me to the junior suite, I was so excited till I saw what it looked like! I can’t imagine what their normal rooms are like! The “junior suite” had its AC on timer and so it kept going to fan mode and temperature kept going to 24°C till I checked it myself and even after setting it to the appropriate setting, the AC gave me trouble. They did fix it though so good for me. The room was very old fashioned, dated wooden paneling which gave it a very dowdy look. There was no natural light in the room at all till around 12noon and only for a short while. Staff were useless (besides Amal). Rude and unhelpful absolutely useless!!! Awful location! The hotel was crammed amidst dilapidated buildings and broken down shops and grocery stores! So called Hamra street! Dirty as anything. Breakfast was absolute garbage. Definitely not catering to the international community. Very limited selection and more Lebanese breakfast than any other type. There was no ambience whatsoever - music etc. The breakfast eggs was just something of a cross between an omelette and a bunch of scrambled eggs. Horrible presentation. They couldn’t even get the coffee right! It was cold!! No selection of meats or fresh juices (no way that would be a luxury!!) Absolute garbage. Surprised and shocked that booking.com gives it a 4 star. Very misleading to say the least. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, totally a bad reputation for Beirut! What a first impression!!!
As always the best hotel around .
Breakfast service should improve from 7:00 not 8:00 air conditioner should replace new one
Should prohibit smoking in room
