They had a personal fan with each bed. It made the heat significantly more bearable.

Lovely guesthouse near beppu Station. The house is old and run down but is nicely decorated and filled with warmth. There's a tatami room with windows to the garden and a large Manga collection. The staff is super friendly and fun. It's old but clean and the price is very reasonable. I had a wonderful time in beppu. Thanks :)

The near location to the station, guest privacy, and accessible price. There was some stuff for free, as coffee and tea as other items that guest could have, as a game machine, a manga library in a Japanese traditional room.
I will mention two reasons that unpleased me: The noise after 10 pm, I could hear in my bedroom. The very noisy children around the corridors.

Friendly staff, clean space, good location, informative wall with all the information you need ( where to eat, what to see, self-service locker, bus schedule, things to do) all can get it here. They even have a game player and comic books in entertainment room
A bit down side for this guest house is the building is bit old. But it has all the basic you need. For me it’s fine.

My stay was lovely and comfy. I basically spent my days just at the hostel due to the rain. Got everything at the guesthouse and nearby, close to (super)market, train and bus station, and the beach. Bed was comfy, staffs were nice and friendly, backpack storage available before check in and after check out. Will defiantly stay again if visit Beppu.
