Overview

In the city centre near the royal chateau of Blois, the Best Western Blois Chateau, Blois, France, sits in the heart of the Loire Valley chateaux country, its comfortable, modern rooms set in a building renovated throughout in a warm, contemporary style. Well suited to both leisure and business, the hotel keeps a range of amenities including free Wi-Fi and iPads for guests to borrow, an easy and central base for exploring the valley. The setting puts the chateau and the old town within an easy walk. The Chateau de Blois gathers four centuries of architecture around a single courtyard, from Gothic to Renaissance to classical, with its famous spiral staircase and its place in the history of the French kings, and the great chateaux of Chambord, Chaumont, and Cheverny all within a short drive. Few towns put so much royal history within a few streets of the door, with the Loire drifting past the foot of the old town.
