The oval shape of the building makes for unique room style. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff was quite pleasant.
Location is near crackheads so you do feel a sense of uneasiness when walking from parking lot (free) to hotel. 24 hour security is present. Also near hospitals so sirens are heard. This is no fault of BW, just how the neighborhood is.
Very central. Next to the medical center, lots of food places and shopping around Free parking
Rooms are small. Partly because of the design. It's a round building so it eats into the available space. Food is just so so. And coffee is probably the worst I've had in ages, worse than even gas station coffee. One elevator was out of order all 3 days we stayed
The check in was quick and simple. it was late and the staff were very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the eating area was very comfortable and clean. We were visiting the aquarium and Quincy market with our children and the hotel was only a 9 minute drive to everything.
The location was not great. there were questionable people near the hotel and int he streets. My husband had us go in and wait while he unloaded everything because he didn't think it was the safest place for us to be.
The breakfast was more than we expected after eating we weren't hungry until much later in the day. Having room service available especially the first night was really a nice to have for an option. The location was kind of expected as we grew up around the Springfield MA area so we know what cities are like even though we now live in what most would call the country. I say that only because it did not bother us at all. We felt very protected though with the Police parked outside in several locations as well as a armed Security Guard in the lobby. This made us feel very well protected. We have stayed in the Boston area several times over the years for medical reasons but hope to travel just for pleasure sometime in the future.
There were really not any reason we would not stay again. The only complaint which seems silly is the elevators were very slow for lack of any other reason I could think of.
Very clean. More suited for business travel with the room split into a bedroom and living area .
Far from downtown. Noisy traffic rolling by on the front facing Massachusetts Av.
