Pros (+) The location was great as far as getting in and out of Boston itself. The Cuban restaurant attached had great drinks and great bartenders. Was hopping on a Saturday night when we returned to the hotel. The hotel staff, upon check in, had great suggestions and ideas for places to eat that were nearby where we would be going. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Also, a continental breakfast...
Cons (-) The neighborhood was shady. You wouldn't want to be out walking, alone, at night. The convenience store on the corner was full of bums. The hotel, itself, was fine, however, I was a bit unhappy that our room wasn't cleaned when we came back at 2:30pm. Other than that, all was good.

Pros (+) Room was fine. Internet was reliable and quick enough. Would be a good choice if you are driving but don't want to be as far out as Revere etc.
Cons (-) The biggest flaw to this hotel for me was the shuttle. When travelling through Boston, I limit my hotel searches To those offering a shuttle. Unfortunately, this time I booked in a rush during a flight connection and the site I used didn't make it clear it only ran shuttles until 8pm - although after 8pm would be when a shuttle is really needed over public transport. Pros (+) We received superb service and were very pleased with our room. Upon arriving shortly after 7am, we were offered a free upgrade to a suite so that we could 'get some rest.' Everyone on staff were friendly and anticipated our needs. The room was comfortable and clean.
Cons (-) The location of the hotel is a bit dicey. While waiting for the bus, we say several drug deals take place. To avoid this, we subsequently caught the bus on the other side of Boston General on Mass Ave.
