It is clean and modern.
The price is outrageous given that the room and service isn’t special. The room is clean and current but nothing special. There were no extras unlike other places that include special little things when they charge that much. Desk staff didn’t do anything to make the stay pleasant. That is, when I asked how to get to the shopping area nearby, they directed us to walk along a very busy road before turning into the shopping area. Had we cut over much sooner, we would have seen much more along the way. Little insider tips like how to get a spot at the fire pit, or where to get a good breakfast would go a long way. Answers to questions were curt. No offer was made to print a copy of the bill, and it wasn’t discussed with me. The emailed invoice I received had no charges on it so I just had a zero balance owing. No details at all ! I still don’t know how much was put on my card and have to wait for it to appear on my statement. We arrived late at night and the desk clerk started checking me in then switched to a different member of our party while I just stood there waiting for my key. No instruction about the pool, where to get a towel, how to get in to the gym etc. In general I felt like the staff found guests to be a bit of an inconvenience. The bartenders were nice. In fairness, there seemed to be a lot of events going on in Boulder that weekend. Still, we didn’t feel welcomed.

Room service trays littered the hallway constantly - our neighbor's tray, including uneaten foods, was there uncovered for days. There was a large area of stained carpet in the room. The coffee/tea tray contained paper litter from previous guest and was not fully stocked. The sheets were less soft than at similar hotels.

Nice place but no free WiFi?
Boulder Marriott is in a great location. Rooms were clean, facilities are very nice.
My only gripe is for the money I paid they wanted to charge me $12-16 for WiFi access. Really? You get free WiFi at cheaper locations and a free breakfast. Felt like I was being nicklel and dimed for basic amenities.

Room bump
Nothing
I arrived at 11 p.m. due to flight delays and the hotel and given my room away after they had already charged my credit card. It was Admit weekend at CU-Boulder and approximately 4,000 students and families were in town so all hotels were sold out. NO ONE at the hotel attempted to contact me via text, email or phone to alert me that my room was given away to an existing guest that decided to extend their stay. Imagine...arriving in a strange city with your 18 year-old and no place to stay...extremely disappointing.

The staff are very attentive with good knowledge of the area. The room is clean as expected of any Marriott.
