It's a relic
There was the old lady in the reception she was very good but alone.
The price is not at all worth it. the room said non smoking and i can feel that the sheets are not good. the water was smelling too bad. the price was definitely not worth at all. this was my very bad experience.
The hotel was too old and should not be on your list
It is different from what is advertised. Old woman at counter is mean and a a fraud. I booked non-smoking and wanted a small fridge, I met strong smell of cigar smoke in the room, so I complained. She said I should sort myself or leave. Still got charged
Has a lot of potential as a really nice motel. A little care would go a long way given its potential charm. Nice location set back from traffic with an apple tree in the lot. The Sunset Motel had a lot of potential.
Hanging out outside the room in the open air. There was also an apple tree in the parking lot that had heaps of fruit on it! That was neat picking our own snacks.
The hotel management should buy a vacuum. There were cobwebs and dead insects in every corner. I didn't find any bed bugs, though, that was nice. The bed encasements were torn and patched with duct tape, rendering then useless.
Motel needs to be updated and there needs to be a thorough cleaning done.
When you stay at Sunset Motel in Branchburg, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Duke Island Park and The Wallace House.
