Pros: The room was well-furnished, the beds were extremely comfortable. The view across the garden and city from the room was wonderful. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful - the facility to leave our luggage whilst we explored the city was extremely useful. Breakfast was on a par with the best we've had in a hotel anywhere in the world. The hotel's location is perfect - within easy walking distance of the centre, bars & restaurants but set back from one of the main shopping streets in a quiet square so noise isn't an issue. It's a beautiful hotel, very well run and staffed, and feels incredibly welcoming.

Pros: Hi quality Hotel , great location but a little expensive
Cons: we had a bad experience when a guest threw a champagne bottle in broad daylight (3pm) on to the pavement below just missing guests and public walking on the pavement outside the main front entrance to the hotel. We immediately notified the Manager ,however, they did very little to clear up the broken glass in the street ( we had to guide traffic and bicycles around the glass) , A member of staff who was rushing to leave the building told us that they knew the man who threw the bottle . However we we returned in the evening to find out what happened to the guest , asked if the police had been called and what were they proposing to do about the situation, At this point the Manager and staff became defensive and difficult stating that they had checked the CCTV and no-one had been hurt ,then became personally abusive to our complete shock they called the police starting claiming that we we causing a nuisance and we were told that unless we stopped telling guests about the incident we would be expelled from the Hotel ! The police came and we were ordered to stay in our room or the police would put us in jail!!!!. So basically this soured our complete stay ,it was completely unnecessary as we were in innocent party and at no time were we given an explanation or apology for this unprofessional action. Hopefully the police have now investigated the matter and taken the appropriate action. I travel extensively and have been to Brugge hundreds of times over many years and I definitely will not stay in this hotel again

Pros: Amazing service and location,
Cons: just be careful with the parking spot in front of the hotel to bring down your baggage, I ask if I can park there to bring down my stuff since I was with my baby , they toll me that I can do it for that purpose, the police enter the hotel to ask and no one tell him it was my car, so they put me a ticket that I can’t pay until it arrives by mail

Pros: The location was great and the staff were very helpful. My room was nice and quiet. The bathtub was very nice and big!
Cons: The hotel is really a combination of different buildings, and temperature varies wildly. Pros: Room was nice, bed was nice too
Cons: 600euros for 3 nights and the room is cold? And the heater is not turned on from 10 pm to 9am, and I can't turn the heater myself and have to ask for it? We had not any towels when we arrived in the room and had to wait the morning to get some ourselves. We ask for a blanket because it was cold and we had to wait 1 day to bring a blank sheet, is this suppose to be our blanket? We were so cold it was almost stupid... Breakfast food is a joke... how are you suppose to eat an apple if it's not already washed, how I know it wasn't washed? The product label was on it... The coffee was tasteless, cheese was bad, fruit juice was bad...

Pros: I was travelling alone with my 2 children ( 10y & 3Y) so i booked a triple room. At the check-in we were upgraded to a family room/apt which was so big and clean, with a small kitchen. Beds are big and comfortable. Bathroom really spacious and spotless clean and bright. Special thanks to Gavina ( the lady in front desk that speaks Portuguese) she made our stay more special thanks you so much. And we had breakfast aswell that was really good every morning, the ladies on the breakfast room were really kind always asking if everything okay and if we needed more hot drinks. The housekeeping were amazing aswell, rooms always spotless and trust me that's not easy with small kids ahahah i would definitely recommend Aragon Hotel and we will come back soon. Thanks you

5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location in the shopping district and near to all attractions of Brugge. The room was quiet and the bathroom big and nice renovated.
Cons: It was an unpleasant surprise to arrive at the hotel and find a whole group of tourists waiting at the reception desk to check-in. There was only one receptionist for 10-15 clients waiting. After waiting 15 minutes and realising that this process could take more than one hour since the receptionist was also giving the tourists tips on where to eat and what to visit, we left our luggage at the reception and left the hotel in search of any other place to rest temporarily after our long journey, I was very dissapointed of our welcome there because I had informed the hotel about the time of our arrival and I had already checked-in online as the hotel had suggested in order to save time (!!!). There should be a second receptionist to handle all this overload or there should be a kind of priority for the clients who have already been checked-in online and it takes only 1 minute to get their key-card and room-number. In any case, I don't find it right to be in a long queue of waiting clients and to have a receptionist to perform the duties of a city-guide.

Pros: The location. Beautiful old house but floors unsafe rotten floorboards & old infestation... splintered wood Four flights of stairs which weren’t a problem for us... but were not listed Bathroom shower had great water pressure! The gentleman we met on entrance, who took the money, was most convivial & knowledgeable about the area but we didn’t see him again! Cons: Three adults & a child sharing a four bedded apartment but got charged on arriving an extra €180 €30 per person for the 3 days stay. This was apparently for breakfast and towels and bedding... we had no change of towels no change of bedding( didn’t require these) but were charged €60 a day. Ripped sofas Ripped bedding Broken bathroom windows The breakfast was dire... Not enough, not great quality... least the owner could get away with really... shameful. 2 old peaches 2 bananas (brown) & 4 old apples!!!... for 7 people... no fresh fruit for three days... basket never refreshed! 3 choices of bread the smallest piece of salami for all at the table and one choice of cheese...Brie... all expected to share. Having to ask complete strangers at breakfast for a share of 4 inch piece of salami was NEVER going to be a comfortable experience... we let them keep in on their plate!! Damp ceiling patches obvious leak mosquito sanctuary Four flights of stairs which weren’t a problem for us... but were not listed Two mosquito window panels for 6 windows No fans in 33 degree heat & couldn’t have windows open because of exacerbating mosquito issue Fridge door handle broken... difficult to open We have more photos documenting all of the above...if you’d like to see them

Pros: The rooms were beyond our expectations. They were incredibly spacious, fantastic original features and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. For example we had to leave early on the last day and the staff prepares breakfast for us in advance.

7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful, historic interiors to the building...creaky, old timber floors and roof beams with old timber shutters...a lovely decor and nostalgic feel to the place.
Cons: Breakfast...I found it weird that they had laid all the food out on the table where we sat to eat. This meant that you had to lean across or get up and move around people to get to various food items. The place is huge, there is ample room for a separate table for the food. Also, rooms were cold at night...

Pros: The attitude of the staff was always excellent. The pool is always a good place to relax.
Cons: Almost had my booking cancelled because of mistakes by hotel staff validating my payment card. They said that my card was invalid but my bank confirmed that they hadn't tried to take a payment. That mistake cost me 1/2 a days pay because I needed to go to the bank to and find out what was going on before the hotel cancelled my reservation. Upon arrival I was told that even though I had booked a parking space at the hotel there was no room for me because they had overbooked parking for that weekend. This was our 3rd visit to the hotel but things have unfortunately changed and not for the better. The rooms have been updated and the new bathroom has no extraction so the steam causes condensation all around the room. The shower cubicle does not seal leading to water leaking over the floor ( we stayed in a different room last year and it was exactly the same). No spare pillows make for a poor night's sleep. This was our 3rd and unfortunately final stay at this hote

Pros:
Cons: The hotel prefers to charge upon check Out ( fine ) . Last night I went to another city close to Bruges ( Ghent) and didn’t sleep In the hotel. The next morning they charged my card “thinking” I left without paying. I don’t need to tell the hotel My schedule where I go or where I sleep. I didn’t want to pay by card and the gentleman in the reception told me that was too late and couldn’t cancel the charge. He confirmed that “thought” I left ( with my luggage’s inside) without paying. I had preferred paid by cash as I always do. If you don’t trust your guests charge upon arrival. Very very disappointed to see such a 4 start hotel as they say they are do this.

Pros: The location is very good and stuff is very helpful
Cons:

Pros: Not too big, very friendly.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well located, i will say 10-15 minutes walking from all the historic places. The room was ok, clean and it was quiet, good soundproofing. The breakfast was fine but the coffee was disappointed, i mean for 134 eur. by night you will expect ground coffee and no instant one. You can park your car, 20 eur by day and it's like 200 mts from the hotel, also you can park in the street but it pretty expensive too.
Cons: The coffee, parking not on site.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine! Staff, clean spacious family room, breakfast were up to the mark. Thank you very much!!!
Cons: I can not find a thing. :))
5.0 Okay
Pros: The big size rooms
Cons: The older lady receptionist wasn’t very happy

Pros: The location is good! Next to the bus station and 10 minutes walking to the city center. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: We were shocked that the shower is literally in the room, with no walls dividing it from the bed, knowing that the room was for three (no couples). Zero facilities! No mini fridge, no soap, no water, no mugs, we paid 1.5€ each for a cup of hot water. We only had 3 towels and a shower in the middle of the room. I was disappointed knowing that wasn’t my first experience with ibis hotel.
