Staff was amazingly helpful and the room is by far the most comfortable hotel room i stayed in in a while, stylish, big, calm, etc! just perfect!
Location is a bit far from the city center (20 min walk). But still very manageable.
Needed refrigerator/freezer in the room. Boring menu.
Free bikes, comfy bed, good breakfast, pleasant area close to river.
I love the location and the style of hotel. The art is beautiful and having the restaurant on site is helpful and the breakfast was delicious. It's a glamorous feeling low rise building in a wonderful area of Calgary.
The parking situation could be more clear on the website. In the end it was cheap and sale and very close by to park at the public lot, but arriving tired and with a lot of luggage - it was mildly inconvenient. The staff were very helpful with this issue though.
The front desk receptionist Miranda was absolutely wonderful! Not only was she able to check us in early, but also had a lot of useful tips for the Calgary Stampede and getting around the city, and even gave us a couple of bear spray cans for our subsequent trip to Banff. The hotel itself was charming and clean, and the room was spacious and even had a fireplace. Location is wonderful - the hotel is very close to the river promenade and the parallel street has a lot of food options.
Breakfast not included.
