Pros: Eduardo was a warm & generous host. For breakfast he had some standing offerings of homemade baked goods, eggs (to order) & ham. Coffee was fabulous and he was willing to make you a cup as long as you wanted, all day long. Our 4 course dinner - fresh seafood/fish caught that day - served with wine, was prepared by Eduardo and was the icing on the cake.
Cons: His signage on the road, for someone who had not been there before, was a little difficult to see
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was just beautiful - Eduardo is a great host who offers a delicious breakfast with homemade jam, biscuits and cakes and he also gives you great advice for what to do and see in the area! Our stay was too short so we will definitely come back! The house with the garden is very nice and the room and bed are very comfortable! A great place to stay for a wonderful holiday... Thank you eduardo!
Cons: Everything was perfect!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I have visited Castiglione Della Pescaia every summer for the last decade. My husband is a local Tuscan, and has been visiting this beautiful beach town since he was young. We have stayed in several hotels, agriturismi, and b&b’s in the area, and Aquacotta is one of our favorite places to stay! Edo is one of the most generous and gracious hosts, and the b&b is in an ideal location... 10 minutes by car to the city center and the beach. The rooms are a nice size, and tastefully decorated. Additionally, Edo always has the best restaurant recommendations and is so helpful is every way! P.S- Edo’s dog, Mela, is the cutest and sweetest little welcome party!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is very friendly, good looking and you feel at home. The owner Edoardo is a brilliant host, very welcoming and helpful. He manages everything you need , really loves what he does and what a cook! We enjoyed staying at the place and really recommend it to everyone who loves being in a quiet place with a true Italian hospitality and beautiful landscape!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of charm and a great, personable host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This small family run property was in a perfect location for easy trips to the beach or to the hill-top towns of the Tuscan countryside. Breakfast of homemade breads and pastries, or eggs if wanted, was served outside under the gazebo. Eduardo is a terrific cook who will provide a four-course meal in the garden amid the olive groves, always with fresh fish from the market that morning washed down with local wine and rounded off with a Limoncello. Visit Tirli for a number of top class restaurants and the nearby vineyard at Le Mortelle for wine tasting and a fabulous lunch. A great place, highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing that comes to mind.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Edoardo is a fantastic host, always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast outside with good cappuccino and delicious homemade cakes every day! Nice pool-area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly people. Home made cake and marmalade at breakfast. Good location!
Cons: Road nearby bit noisy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice and very Italian, meaning many sweet things, However upon request you could get also other options.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What I liked most was the villa and its garden. The breakfast was wonderful! We had dinner at the hotel a few times and all meals were delicious.
Cons: The only reason that I have not given this hotel 10 out of 10 is the busy provincial road passing close to it. I enjoyed waking up with the nice smells from the countryside and the birds singing, but I would have enjoyed this more without the car noise in the background. If you sleep with the windows closed, you would probably be less affected.

7.5 Good
Pros: Bakery delivery was excellent and good value, pool was very clean and a good size. The property was spacious for us as a couple and could have easily taken a family.
Cons: Internet connection not great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts and fantastic location, close to beautiful town and beaches, very good restaurants and lovely countryside. Lovely views over the nature reserve and wonderful, scenic pool and gardens. Apartment is simple but very clean and comfortable and outdoor dining area was great.
6.7 Good
Pros: The place is up in a hill almost all by itself, with a relaxing atmosphere especially in its yard The room is very well equipped and easy to access even if the owners are not there
Cons: The internet connection is not very functional and the balcony of the upper apartments are not so friendly to use them
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of these apartments is beautiful. It is up a hill outside the town on its own and is very peaceful and relaxing. There is a very good restaurant at the bottom of the hill so you don't have to always go into town if you want to eat out. The pool is a great size for the number of people in the apartments so often we were the only ones there during the day even in August! There are some bbqs to use and a lovely garden area. The apartments are generally fairly small although I think some of the others were larger than ours. Having said that, they were perfectly fine for us, a family of 4 especially as during the summer, we spent most of the time outside and there was a lovely little outdoor eating area for each ground floor apartment. Erica is also a fantastic hostess and she did everything she could to make sure we were happy.
Cons: The apartments were rustic in nature which fits well with the location and area. However, there are elements that could do with updating and a few things didn't work like the kettle. It is also quite hard to cook a meal in the kitchen as there is only a hob and no oven or microwave. However, we generally used the BBQ when we ate at the apartment so this wasn't really a problem.

Pros: Breakfast excellant.
Cons: The weather but through no fault of theirs.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and property beautiful, most fragrant gardens ever, rooms huge and very clean, massage in the spa excellent
Cons: Pool was not cleaned daily, breakfast for this kind of hotel less than you expect, staff nice but lacks supervision and training
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facility.
Cons: Dining.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Details, location, style ! These are the main features of Casa Badiola. This is a true tuscany style estate surrounded by olive trees and green hills in a full tranquility and peace. Rooms are big and beautifully decorated with a nice patio opened on the golf greens and the hills. A huge bathroom fully equipped, minibar and a small wine cellar complete this fantastic space ! We will come back next year !
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. Staff were busy and scrambled eggs cold, coffee was dishwater and had to ask for more to be made. But the other restaurants are fantastic and the food exceptional hence why breakfast here was disappointing but in the main hotel has an amazing breakfast with omelettes made to order.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fair enough to say... one of the best hotels I've ever been at ... The complete hotel is a "dream" starting with the entrance avenue, the building, pool, and the service at the breakfast I can absolutely recommend every single night over there
Cons: nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice hotel. Good pool, decent restaurants and very friendly staff. Casa badiola lacks a bit of ambience as compared to l’andana. Reception area, common space fine, but not overly charming but rooms are good sized with nice baths. View onto putting green a bit strange in Tuscany...but you get over it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved Casa Badolia! It was the most beautiful location near a lovely coastal town and beaches but in quiet countryside. The best thing for us was being able to use all the amazing facilities of L’Andana next door without the eye watering prices!
Cons: Don’t expect to be able to cook, the kitchenette, it is actually in an cupboard! But the fridge was handy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is stunning and caters to small children
Cons: The first night we stayed was my birthday and we decided to have dinner at their restaurant. The food never arrived! We waited for an hour and eventually left without eating. Awful experience!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We booked this hotel because we wanted to unwind at the end of a busy holiday. The pools, the beach, the location and the easiness of this hotel ticked all of these boxes!
Cons: The corridor we were on (room 206) was very noisy and every morning, quite early, the cleaning service arranged the trolleys directly outside our room which was noisy but also a little sad to come out and see every day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Facialiti (hotel) , souranding (Green, nature), location close to small town but with distance that provide quiet place, clean rooms and shared locations
Cons: Food, could be more diverse on breakfast. Having same beach towels for a week.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best place you ever dream for a sea/beach holiday with a kid. Special thanks to the staff, that is a great team!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Immaculate location. Perfectly situated by a long sandy private beach within a magnificent forest. Great facilities for families- 4 pools, a Doctor on site every afternoon for 6 days a week and wonderful staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Also, delicious food. The Estate is kept impeccably - well maintained, and spotlessly clean. We adored it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent gym & pool. Allocated a sun bed on the beach with our room for the period of our stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place, apartments, staff, food (incl. breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant and pizza&grill) and beach - are extremely super! The bar is full of different drinks and food.
Cons: Everything was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: You have to use the same towel on the beach chair and in sauna. Beach towel changing is twice per week. After sauna where sweating and the towel are wet should be used the next day at the beach and that is not confortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The beach was absolutely wonderful, and the room had the most incredible comfortable bed… An excellent room! Best massage ever!
Cons: It’s definitely a resort, not really my personal style… The food was mediocre for being in Italy.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good sized room, breakfast excellent, staff superb - helpful, informative, warm and smiley!!!
Cons: Nothing really, furniture a mix of vintage and Ikea but it is what it is!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful, told us all about what is there to see in the vicinity (35km radius). The breakfast was abundant and good and we had plenty to choose from. The room was on the small side but all was clean and in order, except fot the balcony door that did not lock on the bottom but that was no biggy as it closed ok. We had a small balcony overlooking the street. They have a parking lot behind the hotel. The location is just a short walk away from the old town with the castle, the beach and all the restaurants, actually just over the bridge on the canal. We went to a more high class restaurant to celebrate my birthday, the food was good but nothing that special in my opinion, it gets pricey quite fast in those parts ... well it depends on your budget.
Cons: /

Pros: Location was perfect for seeing everything in this very pleasant resort with a good beach, promenade and good restaurants. Both our rooms had a balcony which was a pleasant surprise albeit ours was via our bathroom. A free "apple a day" was a nice touch.
Cons: We were lucky finding a street parking space around the corner but in high season I would imagine this would be difficult.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location near to the beach and a short walk to a wide variety of shops and places to eat. The old medieval town is just above the center so a short walk for great views. Staff were efficient and helpful, parking safe and convenient, breakfast generous and tasty in a lovely top floor overlooking town and harbor. Looking for the best beach? go to the west side of the causeway where there are no breakwater rocks. Delightful!
7.5 Good
Pros: The Hotel location is very good, near to the village and the beach. There is supermarket near the hotel. Plenty of restaurant in the village 2 minutes far. Very long sandy beach perfect for walking..
Cons: A spotlight was installed outside to illuminate the hotel façade, and it was directed to our room, so we couldn't sleep and leave the curtain open to enjoy the fresh air.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, good breakfast and helpfull staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay. The hotel was a perfect base for our visit to Castiglione Della Pescaia. We had a room with a view to the water. We sat out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. We borrowed the free bikes and rode out early to the pine forests before the summer heat. We loved the breakfast and had fresh melon and croissants every day. We enjoyed aperol spritzs, campari spritzs and proseccos from the hotel bar. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from many great beach spots - some of which include a discount associated with a stay at the hotel. And the hotel is just a few steps away from the heart of the city, far enough to have peaceful rooms for sleeping and close enough that you can easily roll in from your chosen restaurant or an evening walk around the medieval hilltop fortress.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Well equipped room with fridge, A/c , Wifi and kettle. It was clean.
Cons: Breakfast was a sad affair. No fresh fruit, tepid overcooked scrambled eggs with soggy grey bacon. Tiny bowls for cereals. We had a room with a balcony which was in the direct sun all day and unusable. Also overlooking a noisy road ..(and the port!). Facilities are tired and everything could do with refreshing.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing to like
Cons: Hotel was worn and dirty. Blood stains on window handles, aircon remote and entry door to room, which I had to request were removed. Breakfast was a free for all, absolute chaos,a dodgem race for food being played out before our eyes.Best part of our four night stay was deciding to leave after one night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: great location!
Cons: some of the amenities felt a bit outdated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed several times at Approdo and always find the staff friendly and welcoming. We feel looked after when we stay there. Our room was comfortable and the view from the balcony wonderful. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. This hotel is run to a very high standard, but is relaxed and friendly.
Cons: We liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, great for a quick 1 night stay and also I’m sure for a beach holiday if that is what you were looking for. It was a nice spot to stop on our trip down the coast.

Pros: Activity for children is great
Cons: The beds umbrellas was very expensive Not standard price
7.9 Good
Pros: i liked the position, the nice and clean beaches, all the people are very kind, you will feel the nature in this place. i advice to rent a bike and explore around, especially Punt Ala Fort for a nice view. i recommend to stay at least 2-3 days to enjoy it.
Cons: i was expecting much more from the rooms at least from the pictures, but it wasnt that bad either, so its worth the money we paid(69e for 3 persons)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The beach and the sunset
Cons: Restaurant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous position, right on a beautiful beach. Very comfortable, well equipped mobile home with air-con. A very good restaurant and a very good pizzeria. Good security.
Cons: Beach bar has a limited menu and the barman was not very welcoming.
7.5 Good
Pros: It's like camping in a 5 star hotel, in the middle of the pine woods. Surrounded by nature, birds chirps, squirrel, cleanest sea every. It is also near of interior where you can taste excellent wine!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: Value for money is not satisfactory. Access and usability of the beach are sub par. The free access area is small and over crowded. The managed area is highly over priced, considering what you get.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very well equipped supermarket with reasonable prices, nice walk thru pine-forrest to the beach.
Cons: Close to the end of our stay an army of ants started crawling thru one of our mobile-home walls. The home was pretty tiny, beds narrow (60cm) and very shaky. One could easily feel the others are turning on their beds in the next room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful scenery and location, always friendly Staff, Bike Trails nearby, own market with local food, clean & strictly by nature
Cons: Prices of the private beach are crazy high - 200 - 300 Euros to rent a place for 5 days.
7.1 Good
Pros: Caravan was basic but clean . Noticeable that caravans seem to be closer to each other than they were last year .
Cons: The toilet/ shower blocks blocks are now very old and no longer suitable. Money being spent on areas that would fall below the priority of the shower blocks . The camping has regulations on use of music outdoors , hanging washing on trees but the Management do not police it and therefore there is a lot of breeches with these rules

5.8 Okay
Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: Very laud parties after 11 o´clock, very unpleasant insect on the beach, slow and weak wi-fi.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great music (ACDC, Queen, Twenty one Pilots) and so one. Pretty forset and lots of geckons.
Cons: Lack of toilet paper in the bathrooms, ants inside the tent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Stayed in the larger cabin with three bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. No issues. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, it seems safe and secure, lots of adult or family activities in the area, and the beach is a ten minute walk from the front gate. Lots of dog owners and campers of all varieties as Le Marze offers everything from bring your own tent/camper to the onsite cabins.
Cons: Overall great place. Stayed during the low season so the pool was not open, the restaurant closes at 2200. The onsite convenience store only takes cash, but there is an ATM at the front office. Most people under age 30 probably will not like the fact that Wifi is only in the common areas.
4.5 Okay
Cons: The bungalow was not clean, when we arrived. There was tomato sauce on the kitchen counter and I had to clean the toilet before the first use. That would not be so bad, We can manage some dirt while camping but when leaving, we were charged 36€cleaning fee!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality, the very good restaurant, nice beach
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The beach was amazing! The atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed.
Cons: There could be more agents for morning checkout, as the line was quite long.
6.3 Good
Pros: Close to the beach, nice store, good coffee at the bar.
Cons: A bathingcap is obliged in the pool, why? A lot of strict and oldfashioned rules, like 10 euros for blankets, a fine for broken cutlery, armbracelets for ...? We still don’t know why. Shower was leaking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beach is absolutely perfect. Long, soft, sandy, enough space for everybody. The whole camp is very human, enough shadow and space for everyone, great for kids (playgrounds, animations, ...). Dog owners were very cautious. We will definitely come back next year.
Cons: Yes, cicadas are loud, but you get used to it and they shut up in the night. Yes, the walk to the beach takes around 10 minutes, but its fine walk and the beach is for camp visitors only = private beach.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, clean mobile home with AC. Campsite has many amenities and fun for the kids. Pool and location across from the beach was awesome. Perfect location. There is an adventure park, restaurants and market as well. Very impressed.
Cons: Not within their control, the cicadas were in full force “singing” throughout the day. We hadn’t experienced this before. As long as you were in the wooded area it was extremely loud. It did settle down to unnoticeable for me at night in the place we stayed.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very close to a beautiful clean beach. Great features for children within the campground. We got a free upgrade since it was raining heavily and we had booked only a tent.
Cons: Mattress was too soft in the cabines and could cause lower back pain in the long term (we only stayed one night)

Pros: The bed was really comfortable-nice view from room
Cons: There was only tea and no coffee- also no milk if you wanted tea...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great base to explore this town which is full of great restaurants and bars. Beach also within walking distance and parking is available once you have checked in
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very goodroom, attentive staff, stunning view from restaurant/ breakfast room. All good
Cons: We were told by booking.com that we had an apartment. In fact it was a hotel room - very good at that but initial confusion on check-in.
6.7 Good
Pros: Ar condition wasn't working properly.( bedroom was hot) Fridge didn't refrigerate properly.
Cons: temperature in the bedroom and the fridge.

6.3 Good
Pros: The mini tent was clean, we had to pay for bed sheets and towels (which we knew upon booking) €10/per person. We were quite possibly the very last mini tent all the way in the back of the camp so that was frustrating- it was a long walk to do anything. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly giving us a table when we didn’t have a reservation, so that was nice.
Cons: There are only 1 set of bathrooms for the entire place which make walking to them quite annoying. From our yurt/mini tent it was at least 7-9 minute walk just one way to go to toilet or to shower which was very annoying. Also when we booked or checked in not once was it mentioned that we would also need to bring our own toilet paper to use the bathroom! Learned that the hard way. The free beach is a solid 15 minute walk. The pool was packed, and you have to pay if you want a chair or sun bed, otherwise you just find a spot on the deck. The pool closed at 8pm that was a bummer as it light last 8pm and still quite hot. The showers / toilets were moderately clean for a campground situation. However in true euro style - no toilet seats. Also parking was a bit of a challenge - as you can only park on the outside edges of the campground and have to walk into wherever your rented tent/ space is. All in all would not stay again.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Beautiful area (woods)
Cons: We stayed in the “glamping” tent. It was very basic and almost no personal space as the tents faced each other. Facilities were most of the time dirty.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fun atmosphere, GREAT pool, nice spot and nice grounds. Bungalows were nicely decorated and good outdoor areas/seating for family dinners.
Cons: Extra cost for everything - have to pay per day for a special card/armband that lets you use the facilities (btw no one ever asked for our card nor did i see anyone using it, and we never wore our armbands), pay for the sunlounges, pay to use their private beach. Bungalow was small compared to others we have been to. Had to make up the second lounge bed ourselves. Checkin procedure was super long and tedious - and hour and half lined up in 38 degree heat, the manually enter all your passport details at checkin (not heard of scanners?). Crazy!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property was better than I imagined, the huge clean pool with many little areas for kids, with whirlpools, with a 'beach area' and deep pool was amazing. I loved that there was music by the pool at night and that there were other activities like tennis... and even a food store. The econo glamping tent was awesome. It had a well needed fridge and electricity and a large double bed. I was able to purchase sheets and towels for 10 euro, which were plentiful. The bungalows were cute and many had great private spaces that were made by the well planted greens and pine forest that it sits in. I would go for one of those if I were to stay again, since they also have bathrooms. The camping was across the street and down a medium long path to the beautiful free beach. Their private beach is a bit closer, but did not have any places available. The free beach was lovely and there are other places to rent an umbrella if desired. One of my favorite moments of the trip was a stop on the way back to the camp at a fruit sales booth... who sold pieces of cold sweet watermelon. After a hot sandy morning, that was just delightful.
Cons: The biggest issue for me was the limited and confusing bathroom situation. There was one large bathroom area and one small (one seat) public bathroom for a huge property of campers. The bathrooms did not have toilet paper, toilet seats, and were not kept clean. They were extremely hot and were confusing to understand in fact, I walked out of the bathroom only to realize I had been using the men's side. They were too far away from the pool or other activities so that I found myself uncomfortable and looking for other bathrooms (which they do not provide, except for one small one behind the tennis courts). The hammam was not open when I was there. The tents are very close to each other so expect lots of conversations around you, tho the quiet times are respected. The tent was clean except for when I unzipped the ceiling to let in the light. (There were lots of cobwebs and things drop down.) Overall it was excellent, but as a single traveler, I did feel a little left out... there were mostly full families, kids and couples. I'd bring more people next time or choose another property.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stayed for 5 nights with family, 5 adults and 3 teenagers. Great facilities. Pool perfect for children of all ages. Stayed in clamping tents which were perfectly kitted out including great cooking facilities. Nice touch on arrival was the little kitchen kit with washing liquid, and dish cloths. We had flown in from UK, so perfect to get that! We loved every day of our stay there!
Cons: Nil of note.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: was not available
Cons: overall, very poor experience for Euro 4,600. Had to pay for upgrade to 'deluxe' on arrival as hovel we were assigned on arrival was completely unacceptable. The 'Deluxe' was not. Overall, found this place cramped, smelly, mozzie infested and all the common areas needed to be washed down.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Some very unfriendly and unmotivated staff members (one at the reception and one at the pool bar)
5.4 Okay
Pros: Big camping, with people from all over Europe. The pool is very nice.
Cons: Maybe it was my personal experience but I had the worst service at the camping restaurant. The waiter looked like he completely disliked us. He never mentioned specials (which he did at EVERY OTHER table around us), treated us poorly and offered no apologies at all once we mentioned a too salty dish. We complained with the host/manager about it and got a small discount. Beside that, the camping is very nice. It's a bit complicated to get around as it's a small labyrinth. There are 2 bathrooms for the whole area but they are clean. The "private beach" is quite far. The camping is good for both families and couples.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people during check -in/out very helping and the peaceful of the location
Cons: I spent only 1 night and everything was nice

7.9 Good
Pros: All very good except below.
Cons: Shower recess awful. An hotel like this should have better and proper shower recesss.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel side where we were was under construction the room was pretty blank facing the back entrance. The pool was so overcrowded there was no seat available at all.
Cons: The structure of the building, the constructions, the overcrowded pool
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nice outdoor pool area. Room was clean and well air conditioned.
Cons: The property is in poor condition. The Hallways are in poor state. The carpets are run down. You would not expect this in a 4 star hotel. Area rugs are placed over the carpet in the hallways , probably to hide worn out areas. In some cases one could feel almost a hole under the carpet. This is not only not appealing but also dangerous. Definitely did not feel comfortable for the price we paid. We felt in a second rate hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous
7.5 Good
Pros: All staff was very kind and very attentive. The room and the outdoor grounds were cleaned and well maintained.
Cons: The facility (especially rooms. We stayed in a suite) needs probably some updates and renovation.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast.
Cons: Good hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Despite the fact that we got an improved room, the furniture is rather old, the shelf with the night lamp hangs over the bed so that you can hit your head. There is no kettle or coffee machine in the room, despite the fact that there is a small kitchen. A web with a spider on the ceiling and in the corners of the cabinet.
