Pros:
At pickup the vehicle was given away and we had to pay for an upgrade. We also had to buy insurance, as we could not show proof that our credit card covered excess insurance laibility. Shuttle buses run every 45 minutes, so there is a long wait3.2 Poor

absolute scam .. sell you a cheap hire package then bully you into paying to reduce the excess ....95 pound charged to your card for fuel that you may get back if you are very lucky . returned my car with a small scratch and was informed well that's your 500 gone .. without even looking at the car .. add to that the 75 pound admin charge and there all round indifference and ignorance to how to treat ppl with dignity made it a horrible experience ... stay well clear from easirent scam artists whose business model is rent cheap because once we've got their card details we can rob them blind .. The lack of information about what shuttle to get from the airport. The schedule of the shuttle from the airport once I finally found out which bus it was... it was once every HOUR. Once on the bus, seeing that you had to pay 3 GBP EACH to travel. Not taking card on the bus... because we were not informed we had to pay. Then arriving at the rental place faced with a queue of 10 people... took me 4 hours from landing to getting the car and home (7 miles away) Then being told my booking did NOT have CDW and therefore it was an extra 70 GBP. NOT IMPRESSED.2.0 Poor

Long wait for shuttle and long distance to drive. Additional fees and charges plus insurance requirements applied and incorrectly stated as legal requirements for cow in UK. Then required increased rental cost as they did not have booked car available. Decided to use another company at airport as it became cheaper and much more pleasant/customer oriented. Do not honor bookings as made or requirements on their own website.2.0 Poor

Pros:
No fuss, get what you paid for! No up sell/over sell! Navigation system was all inclusive instead of another add-on. Easy access at Gatwick although I feel that location is “very tight” for pickups and drop-offs! Staff are friendly and helpful!Cons:
They gave me a C4 Cactus which was an awful drive. I feel an offer of car type of other compacts would have been better!10.0 Wonderful

Awful, terrible lousy and expensive We arrived at 10am to collect our prebooked car and had to wait 90 minutes for it to be ready. Awful customer service from the front desk agent and a man who claimed to be the regional manager. While waiting we discovered that we could have booked the same car £50 cheaper with Avis who didn't have any wait. CDW wasn't included in the rate but wasn't clear. Be very careful, you'll get stung! Cons:
Shuttle driver treated bags badly and they were badly scratched just from airport to offsite location. Location is hard to find to return cars. Cheap up front rate uktimstely four times higher when essential navigation and insurance are added.2.0 Poor

Cons:
The terms and conditions state that the driver must hold a full licence for longer than 2 years. This is the case for me but I was refused hire due to the issue date on my UK licence being less than 2 years (since it was a replacement of my full Australian licence). It would have been a simple call to DVLA to confirm this was the case, but the staff member said there was nothing they could do and I was not allowed to hire a car.2.0 Poor

The staff was polite and helpful.Cons:
We waited for the Hertz shuttle at the airport for over 25 minutes before finally just taking a cab. We try to call them and got no answer. We also tried to use their FaceTime at the kiosk inside the airport, but we're unable to reach them.One location in Horley

Pros:
Dropped off the car in front of the hotel as rental bays were about 70m walk from hotel entrance and we had A LOT of luggage. The Thrifty Associate came out to check the car while we unloaded the luggage, so we could catch the next bus to the airport terminal. He then parked the car for us in the rental bays. Everything done in 5 minutes - couldn't have asked for a better drop-off experience.Cons:
